District 1 – Lt. Darrel Conn (North County)
On the date of 02/06/08, Deputy Peckne was dispatched to a Disturbance in Progress at 17,000 East Williams Road. On arrival, one suspect was located hiding behind a tree. He was detained and then told the Deputy that he had marijuana in his pocket. Deputy Peckne found marijuana and made the arrest. A package weight of 31.5g was recovered. Donald Carl Wood Jr., 27 year old male, was transported to Central Jail for charges.
On 02/07/08 Corporal Bonner was dispatched to the 14,000 block of FM 1314 in reference to a Burglary of a Building. On arrival, the reportee and Owner advised that his building had been vacant for a while and was listed for sale. Meanwhile, suspect(s) entered the property and removed several thousand dollars worth of copper wiring. The suspect(s) also caused major interior damage to the buildings. This case is open and referred to the Detective Division for follow-up.
On 02/07/08 Deputy Bourne was dispatched to the 100 block of Carmen Blvd., in Willis, in reference to a disturbance with possible weapons involved. On arrival the suspects were located and one was found to be in Possession of Marijuana, which was found in his front pants pocket. The District Attorney’s Office accepted charges on John Flynn, a 28 year old male; Possession of 9.8g Marijuana.
On 02/09/08 Deputy P. Smith was dispatched to the 13,000 block of Lake Breeze Lane, in Willis, in reference to a Criminal Trespass in Progress. On arrival, the trespasser was located and found to be in Possession of a Controlled Substance and Possession of a Dangerous Drug. Both substances were a prescription type narcotic but she had no legal medically issued authority to possess. Arrested was Aline McMayon, a 57 year old female. Both charges accepted by the District Attorney’s Office.
District 2 – Lt. Andrew Eason (South County/Woodlands)
On 01/31/2008, 2208, Deputies J. Walker and M. Beasley responded to a prowler call in the area of 26 Valley Oaks Circle. Upon arrival, the deputies heard several gun shots coming from the residence. The SWAT team was called and a W/F, 25, was arrested for Deadly Conduct, F3.
On 02/02/2008, 0127, Deputy A. Swank was notified of two males attempting to open car doors in the 7575 block of Gosling. Upon arrival, Deputy Swank located the two subjects sitting in a vehicle. As they exited the vehicle, a strong odor of burnt marijuana came from the vehicle. A smoking pipe and marijuana were found on one white male, 19. The male was arrested for Possession of Marijuana, M/B. The other subject, W/M, 20, was arrested for Public Intoxication, M/C.
On 02/10/2008, Deputy B. Flynn, was dispatched to 27000 FM 2978 in reference to a vehicle driving recklessly. The truck was located and the driver was having a difficult time walking and his speech was slurred. After field sobriety tests were performed by Sgt. B. Fitzgerald, the white male, 45, was arrested for Driving while Intoxicated, M/B.
District 3 – Lt. Jim Fleming (East County)
On February 4, Deputy C. Evans was notified of a family violence call that was in progress in the 21100 block of Loop 494. The Deputy was aware this was the third such call at the residence in the past nine hours. The female complainant advised the Deputy that her boyfriend had threatened her and threw beer on her during this incident. The 42 year old male from New Caney was arrested at 1:29am and transported to jail. During the transport the male threatened the Deputy and was additionally charged with retaliation.
On February 5, Deputy C. Turrentine was sent to the 18300 block of Aztec in reference to a family violence call. This was the second time the Deputy had been to the residence. The male suspect had left prior to arrival on the first call. The male had been making threats to his family and was very intoxicated. The 42 year old male from Porter was arrested at 4:38am and transported to jail.
On February 5, Deputy K. Pickerill responded to a disturbance call on Riga Court and while speaking with a complainant a female drove by yelling at the complainant. The Deputy had her stop her vehicle and at some point the female decided to drive off. The Deputy followed and stopped her in the 5400 block of Riga Court. The female was intoxicated and was resistant to all the Deputy’s questions and was taken into custody. The 39 year old female from Porter was arrested at 7:30pm for DWI, resisting arrest and three misdemeanor traffic charges. She was transported to jail.
On February 6, Deputy C. Turrentine was dispatched to the 25100 block of Blue Jay in reference to three males attempting to break into a vehicle. The reportee described the males and the vehicle in which they left the scene. A short time later the Deputy located the vehicle and the males driving on FM 1314. The males were taken into custody during the investigation and charged with criminal trespass, possession of criminal instrument and attempted burglary of a motor vehicle. The three males, 17, 18 and 21 years of age, all from Conroe, were arrested at 2:37am and transported to jail.
On February 6, Deputy C. Turrentine was notified of a family violence call in the 20100 block of Chad Lane. On arrival the Deputy found the female complainant on the floor with blood on her and crying. The female was in bed when her brother came in and started going through her medications. She had just gotten out of the hospital after surgery on her shoulder. He told her he wanted her pain medication. She refused. He grabbed her purse and drug her out of bed and was hitting her with his fist on her body. The male took the purse and got her wallet. He took cash and her bank card. He threatened to kill her and ran from the residence. At approximately 3:05am the male was located by two other Sheriff’s Deputies and the male was arrested and transported to jail. The male was charged with aggravated robbery.
On February 6, Corporal K. Hayden was dispatched to the 9800 block of Fostoria Road in reference to a suspicious vehicle. The Deputy located a vehicle partially on the roadway with two males and a female asleep inside the vehicle. During the investigation it was found that one of the males was wanted on a parole violation. After further investigation the Deputy located 8.9 grams of marijuana and 1.1 grams of black tar heroin. Also found was 0.6 grams of methamphetamine and a white pill later identified as Valium. The female was found to have a hydrocodone pill on her. The 43 year old male, 35 year old female, both from Porter, and the 30 year old male from Magnolia were arrested at 9:00am and transported to jail.
On February 6, Deputy G. Harman and Deputy R. Layman responded to the 24300 block of W. Terrace in reference to a theft of copper (welding leads). The Deputies were notified that the suspects were seen leaving the area and were given the license plate number. Pct. 4 Deputy Constables were in the area and located the vehicle in the 23800 block of Cherokee and awaited arrival of the Sheriff’s Deputies. The complainant verified the stolen property and was able to identify one of the subjects that had taken the property. The 23 year old male was arrested at 2:00pm and transported to jail.
On February 7, Deputy P. Rex and Deputy D. Rippley assisted other Sheriff’s Deputies on a suspicious vehicle call at the corner of FM 1485 and Hwy 242. Several male subjects were in the parking lot and found to be intoxicated. One of the males was found to have an aggravated assault warrant out of Dallas on him. The other males were taken into custody for public intoxication and later it was found one of the males was in possession of a controlled substance. Also one of the males had a fraudulent social security card in his possession. The six males, ranging in age of 20 – 73 years old, from Dallas, were arrested at 2:22am and transported to jail.
On February 7, Deputy J. Varnell was sent to the 24800 block of FM 1314 in reference to a disturbance. The male subject was yelling at customers and being belligerent. The 30 year old male from The Woodlands was arrested at 9:05pm for public intoxication and transported to jail.
On February 8, Deputy P. Rex and Deputy D. Rippley were patrolling the area of FM 1485 and Hwy 59 and observed several traffic violations committed by a driver. The vehicle was stopped by the Deputies in the area of FM 1485 and Vick Road. The 27 year old male driver from Houston was charged with DWI and the 34 year old male passenger was charged with public intoxication. Both subjects were arrested at 1:15am and transported to jail.
On February 9, Deputy C. Turrentine was notified of an intoxicated male in the 24200 block of FM 1314. On arrival in the apartment complex area the Deputy located the male who was asleep. When awakened, the male became agitated and would not cooperate with the Deputy or EMS on scene. The 44 year old male from Porter was arrested at 11:21pm and transported to jail.
On February 9, Deputy C. Murray was dispatched to the 23700 block of Johnson Road in reference to a disturbance. The Deputy arrived and met with a male and female that had been in a verbal argument. During the investigation the Deputy noticed the female to be very intoxicated and had tried to leave the scene in her vehicle. The 44 year old female from New Caney was arrested at 12:09am and transported to jail.
On February 9, Deputy P. Rex and Deputy D. Rippley were sent to the 20000 block of Hwy 59 in reference to a male that was passed out in the parking lot near Hartz Chicken. The Deputies observed the male to be highly intoxicated. The 45 year old male from Conroe was arrested at 3:10am and transported to jail.
On February 10, Deputy J. Varnell responded to the 21900 block of Russell on a disturbance call. On arrival the Deputy met with two elderly females who were both assaulted by one of the female’s grandson. The male was upset and violent and was throwing things and knocking holes in the walls at the residence. Both females attempted to intervene and the male grabbed one female by the arm and jerked her and struck her on the chest. The other female was grabbed by the arm. The 23 year old male from New Caney was arrested at 5:00pm for injury to the elderly and was transported to jail.
On February 10, Deputy C. Murray was dispatched to the Wal-Mart in Porter for a theft call. On arrival the Deputy met with the loss prevention officer who was detaining a male suspect for theft in the amount of $110.08 in merchandise. Two males were involved in the theft. One carried the merchandise out and the other took the merchandise back in and attempted to exchange it for a gift card. After a review of the surveillance tape the 21 year old male from New Caney was arrested at 9:38pm and placed in the patrol vehicle. A second person involved in the theft was located in a vehicle in the back side parking lot. The male was attempting to hide. The 23 year old male from New Caney was also arrested and charged with a state jail felony as he had two prior convictions for theft. Both males were transported to jail.
On February 10, Deputy C. Murray was sent to W. Knox Drive in reference to a disturbance. A male involved in the disturbance had left the scene walking and was believed to be intoxicated. Numerous reports of a male walking in lanes of traffic on Hwy 59 near Northpark were received. The Deputy located the 33 year old male from Porter and arrested him at 11:35pm for public intoxication and transported him to jail.

A 43 year old male from Conroe was arrested at 12:15am, February 6, in the area of FM 1314 and Fatheree Drive by Deputy P. Rex for a driving while license invalid warrant out of Montgomery County. The Deputy was investigating a suspicious vehicle call. The male was transported to jail.
A 47 year old male from Porter was arrested at 12:30pm, February 8, by Deputy J. Howze after receiving the male from a Liberty County Sheriff’s Deputy in the area of Hwy 59 and Fostoria. The male had a warrant out of Montgomery County for driving while intoxicated 3rd or more. The male was transported to jail.
A 36 year old male from Conroe was arrested at 7:29pm, February 10, in the area of Hwy 105 and Crockett Trace by Deputy C. Murray for a theft by check warrant out of Montgomery County. The male had been stopped on a traffic violation. The male was transported to jail.
District 4 – Lt. Art Galloway (West County)
On 2/5/08 Deputy G. Kerr was dispatched to Dallas St, Magnolia, TX in reference to burglary of a building report. Upon arrival he met with the complainant who stated, while she was away from her new home that is being built, someone had entered the building and removed copper wiring, a framing gun/roofing nailer, and an air compressor. Total dollar loss of $800. This case referred to Criminal Investigation Division.
On 2/5/08 Deputy J. Urban was dispatched to FM 149 (AT&T) in reference to theft of 200 feet of copper wire. Deputy Urban met with the complainant who stated when he arrived at the FM 149 location he noticed 200 feet of 900 pair copper wire cut from the power pole. Estimated loss for AT&T estimated at $4,000. This case referred to Criminal Investigation Division.
On 2/8/08 Deputy E. Hollan and her partner Deputy A. Gurka were dispatched to a burglary in progress on Windward in Magnolia, TX. When they arrived on scene they collected the information for the report from the complainant, and arrested the suspect, a white male related to the complainant, and transported him to the county jail in Conroe. This case referred to Criminal Investigation Division.
On 2/8/08 Deputy K. Krolczyk was dispatched to Meadowsweet, Magnolia TX in reference to assault by contact – family violence. Upon arrival she met with the two white females involved in the altercation and obtained information for the report. Due to one of the females being intoxicated, and to prevent any further violence, she was transported to the county jail. This case referred to JP5.
On 2/9/08 Sgt. J. Moya was advised of a theft on Overlook, Pinehurst, TX. When Sgt. Moya arrived on scene he met with the complainant who provided information for the report. There was structural damage to the home and stolen copper wiring for a total loss of approximately $2,075. This case referred to Criminal Investigation Division.
On 2/11/08 Deputy A. Sumrall was dispatched to Barbara Ln in reference to a theft call. He arrived on location and met with the complainant who stated he last saw his 48″ Poulan riding lawnmower in his front yard on 2/10/08 at about 7:00 pm. When he got up on 2/11/08 he noticed it was missing. The approximate value of the lawnmower is $2300. This case referred to Criminal Investigation Division.
On 2/11/08 Deputy K. Krolczyk was dispatched to Clubhouse Ln., Magnolia, TX I reference to theft of copper. Upon arrival at the location she met with the complainant. The complainant advised when he arrived at the construction site he found copper electrical wiring and two 50 gal water heaters had been stolen from the home. Estimated value of the stolen items is $800.This case referred to Criminal Investigation Division.
On 2/11/08 Deputy T. Messina was dispatched to Terri Ln, Pinehurst, TX in reference to burglary of a habitation. When Deputy Messina arrived he met with the complainant who advised that two guns were stolen out of his house while he was away at work. He provided a description and serial numbers for the stolen items valued at $804. This case referred to Criminal Investigation Division.
District 5 – Lt. Don Lacy (Northwest County)
February 3, 2008 @ 2:11 pm. Deputy M. Jackson responded to a Burglary of a Motor Vehicle call in the 800 block of Bentwater Drive. The complainant left his vehicle in the parking lot of the Bentwater Country Club at 11:00 am. While he and his family had lunch. He returned and found that unknown suspect (s) had entered an unlocked door of the vehicle and stole his radio/tvs/crs from the dash area. The total loss was $305. This case will be forwarded to the Detective Division for follow up.
February 3, 2008 @ 7:46 pm. Deputy J. Enloe responded to a Burglary of a Motor Vehicle in the 7200 block of Snug Harbor. The complainant said he had parked his vehicle in the covered parking area and left the windows down. He went inside to watch the Super Bowl. He returned to his vehicle later and found unknown suspect (s) had entered his vehicle and stole his wallet, cash and his medication. The total loss was $117. The complainant said his doctor told him he had to have a police report to refill his medication. There were no witnesses to the incident.
February 5, 2008 @ 7:59 pm. Deputy J. Enloe responded to a disturbance call in the 2100 block of Pine Drive. While investigating the disturbance it was discovered that one of the suspects had three outstanding warrants on him. The suspect was arrested and place in the Montgomery County Jail. Bond was set at $832.
February 4, 2008 @ 7:30 pm. Deputy J. Enloe stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation at Hwy. 105 West and Pine Lake Road. After running a check on the driver he discovered she had a outstanding warrant for Theft by Check. The suspect was arrested and place in the Montgomery County Jail. Bond was set at $800.
February 6, 2008 @ 12:02 pm. Deputy D. Wiesepape responded to a Assault (Family Violence) call in progress in the 9500 block of Chasewood Blvd. Upon arrival he separated the father and son who were involved. It was determined the son was the aggressor in the incident, so he was detained. Deputy Wiesepae handcuffed the suspect and was walking him to his patrol vehicle when the suspect began resisting and trying to pull away from the deputy. The suspect would not enter the patrol vehicle after being asked and ordered many times. The suspect keep resisting so the deputy had to use his O.C. spray on the suspect to make him comply. The suspect was placed in the Montgomery County Jail for Assault (Family Violence) and Resisting Arrest-Detention.
February 8, 2008 @ 3:05 am. Deputy H. Lowe responded to an Assault/Criminal Mischief call in the 3300 block of Woodchuck Drive. The complainant said that he and his girlfriend was at a address on Woodchuck so she could pick up her keys. The suspect came out of the house screaming at him and hit him in the face causing him pain. The complainant suffered a busted nose and a cut to the bridge of his nose and a broken tooth. The suspect then broke the front windshield to the complainant’s vehicle. The suspect was arrested and placed in the Montgomery County Jail. Bond was set at $1,250.
