District 1 – Lt. Darrel Conn (North County)

On 02/08/08 and 02/19/08 Deputies responded to the area of Wiggins Road and Johnson Mallard, in Grangerland. When units arrived they found that copper wiring from a Wapiti Well had been stolen. The wire and well down time was estimated at $17,500.

On 02/09/08 Deputies responded to a theft in the 1500 block of McKay Road, in Willis. The reportee has had monies missing for some time. He set up a video recorder and caught the suspect in one of those cases.

On 02/12/08 Deputies responded to the 13,000 block of Rocky Road, in Grangerland. When they arrived they found a 27 year old male with a gun, threatening suicide. Deputies negotiated with the man until he laid the weapon down and was arrested for two counts of assault on a family member.

On 02/12/08 Deputies responded to the 12,000 block of Green Ridge, in Willis, in reference to suspicious activities. When they arrived, they found an 18 year old man had run an extension cord from his house to the back of his next door neighbor’s house. The neighbor had not been at home and was not aware the electricity from his house was being disrupted. The 18 year old man was arrested.

On 02/13/08 Deputies made a traffic stop in the 135 block of Carmen, in Conroe. The 25 year old driver was arrested for a second driving offense of driving while his license was suspended. It was found the driver had given a false name and when his true identity came out he showed to be a wanted person. He was also found to be in possession of marijuana.

On 02/15/08 Deputies responded to the 13,000 block of Big Horn Trail, in Willis, in reference to a family violence report. When units arrived they found an assault had taken place and a 46 year old man was arrested.

District 2 – Lt. Andrew Eason (South County/Woodlands)

Possession of Marijuana
On 2/11/08, Deputy C. Norum, was dispatched to the Starbucks parking lot at 25111 Grogan’s Mill in reference to a welfare check. A W/M 21 was observed sleeping in his vehicle. The W/M had a bag of the green leafy substance on him. The W/M was arrested and charged with Possession of Marijuana M/B.

Interference w/ Public Duties/ Evading Arrest-Detention
On 2/11/08, Deputy S. Mullis, was dispatched to a disturbance call at the Grogan’s Landing Apartments. While investigating a W/F 44 and her juvenile son were refusing to cooperate with the Deputy. When Deputy Mullis attempted to detain the agitated juvenile, the W/F placed her hands on the officer and pushed him. During this time the juvenile ran from the apartment, but was caught in the parking lot. Both W/F and juvenile were arrested. The W/F was charged with Interference with Public Duties M/B and the juvenile was arrested for Evading M/B.

Theft enhanced with Prior Conviction
On 2/12/08, Deputy Wroten, was dispatched to Randall’s at 2250 Buckthorne Dr. in reference to a theft in progress. A W/F 29 was observed in person and on video placing items into a box and passing the point of sale without making payment. The W/F was arrested and charged with Theft M/B, and enhanced charge due to prior theft conviction.

Criminal Trespass / Fail to ID Fugitive / Warrant
On 2/18/08, Deputy J. Solomon, was doing routine patrol in the area of Fox Run. He observed a vehicle parked in the Community Park after dark. Upon making contact with the occupants of the vehicle and Spring Creek MUD Criminal Trespass charges were filed. A B/M 32 was arrested and charged with Criminal Trespass, Fail to Identify Fugitive, and Warrant- M/B, M/A, F. A W/M 24 was arrested and charged with Criminal Trespass M/B.

DWI / Fail to ID / No DL on Demand
On 2/19/08, Corporal E. West, arrived at Rayford Rd at Imperial Oaks to assist Deputy B. Rogers, who had stopped a suspected drunk driver. Deputy Rogers was in an unmarked county vehicle and observed the W/F 31 swerving on the roadway and almost causing accidents. When the vehicle stopped at a red light Deputy Rogers exited his vehicle and detained the driver. Deputy E. West performed a series of field sobriety tests. The W/F was arrested and charged with DWI, Fail to ID, No DL on Demand- M/B, M/C, M/C.

Theft from Person
On 2/20/08, Deputy B. Rogers, was dispatched to CVS at 25110 Grogan’s Mill in reference to a possible Robbery. Store employees advised a W/M entered the store and took money from an open register. Numerous deputies were dispatched to locate the suspect, who fled the scene in a vehicle. The case remains under investigation.

District 3 – Lt. Jim Fleming (East County)

On February 11, Deputy C. Evans observed a red passenger car in the parking lot in the 24500 block of Loop 494. The Deputy found a male passed out inside the vehicle. The male was highly intoxicated. The 31 year old male from Glendale, CA, was arrested at 1:44am and transported to jail.

On February 12, Deputies J. Amstutz and L. Ray were sent to the 17800 block of Simon Court in reference to a family violence call. The Deputies were advised the female complainant and her boyfriend had gotten into a verbal argument that led to physical violence. The male shoved his girlfriend, grabbed her in a head lock and struck her numerous times with a glass candle on the forehead. The male was also found to have marijuana in his possession. The 29 year old male from Houston was arrested at 6:30am and transported to jail.

On February 12, Deputy C. Turrentine was notified of a family violence call in progress in the 12000 block of Fostoria Road. On arrival the Deputy found an intoxicated female that was also in possession of soma, xanax and hydrocodone pills. The 43 year old female from Conroe was arrested at 11:54pm for public intoxication and the possession charges. She was transported to jail.

On February 13, Deputy C. Evans was dispatched to the 18500 block of Butterfly Circle in reference to a criminal trespass. On arrival the Deputy met with a male suspect who was intoxicated. The male did not live at the location. The 28 year old male from Porter was arrested at 3:00am and transported to jail.

On February 17, Sgt. B. Welch was sent to the 23700 block of Hwy 59, in reference to a shop lifter in custody. The Deputy met with the loss prevention officer who was detaining a female who was observed placing two shirts in her purse and failing to pay for the items. The total cost on the merchandise was $16.98. The female had been convicted of theft in the past so her charge was enhanced to misdemeanor B. The 19 year old female from Conroe was arrested at 3:30pm and transported to jail.

On February 17, Sgt. B. Welch responded to the 26300 block of Joy Village Drive in reference to a disturbance in progress. On arrival the Deputy observed an intoxicated male staggering in the roadway. The 37 year old male from Conroe was arrested at 8:00pm and transported to jail.

Warrants served:

A 22 year old male from New Caney was arrested at 3:23am, February 11, in the 24800 block of FM 1485 by Deputy C. Turrentine for a criminal mischief warrant out of Montgomery County. The Deputy was investigating an assault case. The male was transported to jail.

A 24 year old male from Splendora was arrested at 4:57pm, February 12, in the 13400 block of Morgan Drive by Deputy A. Cross for an evading arrest/detention warrant and an unauthorized absence from a community correctional facility warrant out of Montgomery County. The Deputy was assisted by other deputies in the male’s apprehension. The male was on the fugitive warrant list. He was transported to jail.

A 24 year old male from Cleveland was arrested at 3:43pm, February 15, in the area of Fostoria Road and Hwy 59 by Deputy J. Armstrong for four Montgomery County JP 4 warrants. The Deputy met with a Cleveland PD officer who was detaining the male. The 24 year old male from Cleveland was transported to jail.

A 48 year old male from New Caney was arrested at 9:30am, February 17, in the 22400 block of Kidd Cemetery Road by Deputies J. Amstutz and L. Ray for a DWI failure to appear warrant out of Montgomery County and a fail to pay child support warrant out of Dallas County. The Deputies were conducting a welfare check on the male that was passed out in a vehicle. The male was transported to jail.

A 38 year old male from Cleveland was arrested at 3:05pm, February 17, in the area of Hwy 59 and Glen Royal by Deputy J. Amstutz for an assault causing bodily injury warrant out of Montgomery County. The male had been stopped on a traffic violation. The male was transported to jail.

District 4 – Lt. Art Galloway (West County)

On 2/12/08 Sergeant Moya was dispatched to Inverness Crossing, Magnolia, TX in reference to theft of a vehicle report. Upon arrival he met with the complainant who stated, during the night time someone took his vehicle that was parked at his home. Value of the vehicle is estimated at $17,000. This case referred to Auto Theft Division.

On 2/12/08 Deputy K. Krolczyk was dispatched to Inverness Crossing in reference to theft of a motor vehicle. Deputy Krolczyk met with the complainant who stated he had started his vehicle and had to go back in the house where he forgot something. When he came back out his vehicle was gone. Estimated loss for the vehicle is $5,000. Also left in the vehicle were two check books. This case referred to Criminal Investigation Division, and Auto Theft Division.

On 2/12/08 Deputy J. Urban were dispatched to a theft of copper from a business on FM1488, Magnolia TX. When he arrived on scene he collected the information for the report from the complainant and witnesses. Complainant advised that an ex-employee took a bin of copper scrap valued at $2,500. This case referred to Criminal Investigation Division.

On 2/12/08 Deputy A. Sumrall was dispatched to Inverness Crossing, Magnolia TX in reference to recovery of a stolen vehicle. Upon arrival he met with the complainant who stated that a neighbor saw his truck on the side of the roadway in the front of the Subdivision. Complainant had recovered his vehicle. This case referred to Criminal Investigation Division.

On 2/12/08 Deputy J. Urban was advised of a theft in Cripple Creek, Pinehurst, TX. When Deputy Urban arrived on scene he met with the complainant who provided information for the report. There was lawn equipment taken from the home for a total loss of approximately $3,000. This case referred to Criminal Investigation Division.

On 2/13/08 Deputy J. Urban was dispatched to Inverness Crossing, Magnolia TX in reference to a theft on a motor vehicle call. He arrived on location and met with the complainant who stated she last saw her vehicle in her driveway on 2/12/08 at about 10:00 pm. When she got up on 2/13/08 she noticed it was missing. The approximate value of the vehicle is $4,500. This case referred to Auto Theft Division.

On 2/13/08 Deputy A. Sumrall was dispatched to Inverness Crossing, Magnolia, TX in reference to burglary of a habitation where jewelry, electronic equipment and currency were taken. Upon arrival at the location he met with the complainant. The complainant advised when he left the house at 7:45 am and when they returned at 4:30 pm he found that someone had entered his home without permission and had stolen the items. Estimated value of the stolen items is $1,650. This case referred to Criminal Investigation Division.

On 2/13/08 Deputy H. Suarez was dispatched to Decker Hills, Magnolia TX in reference to burglary of a habitation. When Deputy Suarez arrived he met with the complainant who advised that numerous pieces of jewelry were stolen out of the house while she was away at work during the daytime hours. The stolen items valued at $9,610. This case referred to Criminal Investigation Division.

On 2-14-08 Deputy T. Slusher was dispatched to High Meadow Ranch, Magnolia TX in reference to theft of copper wire. Deputy Slusher met with the complainant who stated that the wire was taken from a new home under construction. The value of the wire is estimated at $6,300. This case referred to Criminal Investigation Division.

On 2-14-08 Deputy A. Sumrall was dispatched to Glenmont Estates, Magnolia TX in reference to theft of jewelry. Deputy Sumrall met with the complainant and gathered information for the report. The value of the jewelry taken is $12,000. Case referred to Criminal Investigation Division.

District 5 – Lt. Don Lacy (Northwest County)

On February 11, 2008, deputies responded to an alarm call at 12800 Walden Road (Spin in Market). When they arrived they found that the front glass door had been broken. Deputies found a suspect vehicle parked at a nearby apartment complex and a suspect who was clad in clothing matching those that could be seen on the store’s video taping system. Two suspects where identified and charged with the burglary. During the investigation Cory Eisel threatened to “kill” the owner of the store as well as the deputies on the scene. Eisel was also charged with retaliation. It is possible that other crimes in the area could be related to these suspects and the detective office is conducting a follow-up investigation.

District 6 – Lt. David Dottei (Town Center)

Theft / Unlawful use of Criminal Instruments
On 2/9/08, Deputy F. Rizk, was dispatched to The Woodlands Mall in reference to a theft in progress. A W/F 40 was observed taking clothing and using a tool to remove the security devise. The W/F was arrested and charged with Theft SJF, enhanced due to prior convictions, and Unlawful use of Criminal Instruments M/B.

Theft
On 2/9/08, Deputy D. Weatherford, was dispatched to Walmart at 3040 College Park in reference to a theft. A W/F 24 was observed by loss prevention concealing items into her purse. The W/F passed all points of sale with out paying for the items and was detained by loss prevention. The W/F was arrested and charged with Theft M/B.

F1 = 1st Degree Felony – Punishable by a fine not to exceed $10,000 and confinement in state jail for 5 to 99 years.
