Spring, TX (Montgomery County Monitor) – At approximately 12:30 a.m. Saturday morning, a fatal motor vehicle accident occurred on IH-45 North just south of the Rayford Road exit. Bryon Campbell, 42, of New Caney, was thrown from his truck during the rollover accident and sustained fatal injuries.According to Department of Public Safety (DPS) troopers on-scene, witnesses stated a black sports car may have initiated the accident causing a chain reaction collision between another vehicle and Mr. Campbell’s truck.
The collision caused the truck to turn sideways which initiated the rollover event. Mr. Campbell was ejected from the vehicle before his vehicle came to rest on its roof.DPS is continuing its investigation to determine the validity of the involvement of the black sports car and if involved, determine the whereabouts of the vehicle.
No other injuries were reported.
