District 1 – Lt. Darrel Conn (North County)
On 03/08/08 Deputies Bourne and Degner were dispatched to an alarm at the Stop N Drive located on FM 3083, in Conroe. Deputies found the burglar(s) had forced entry into the building by cutting a hole in an exterior wall. Cash was missing from the store. The Detective Division will be doing a follow-up investigation.
On 03/13/08 Deputy Holcomb was dispatched to a Criminal Mischief at the Independent Propane Company, located on FM 1097 West, in Willis. The front glass door to the building had been shattered. The owner wishes to prosecute.
On 03/13/08 Deputy Rodriguez was dispatched to the Criminal Justice Center to meet with a complainant in reference to a Theft. The complainant advised he had parked his truck in his brother’s driveway on Fair Oak, in the Bentwater Subdivision. The next morning he found his fiberglass bed cover missing off his pickup. This case is referred to the Criminal Investigative Division.
On 03/14/08 Deputy Buckner was dispatched to the 10,000 block of Sweet Gum, in Conroe, in reference to a Burglary of a Motor Vehicle. The complainant stated he woke to find someone had broken into his Ford SUV and stolen his radio/TV. Prints were taken and this case has been referred to Detectives.
On 03/16/08 while Deputy Degner was working DWI STEP, he was dispatched to IH45 and Wildwood to a possible impaired driver. The driver was seen weaving in and out of lanes, almost hitting two cars and a concrete barrier. The driver was stopped by Deputy Moody, who called Deputy Degner after noticing a strong odor of alcohol. After failing field sobriety tasks, the driver was arrested and charged with DWI.
On 03/17/08 Deputy Halbert and Corporal Bonner were dispatched to a residence on Hoda Drive, in Conroe, in reference to a Theft. The complainant advised he awoke that morning at dawn after hearing noises from outside his residence and noticed his electricity was off. After looking out his window, he observed two white male suspects hurriedly getting into a black Pontiac Grand Prix sedan. Upon going outside and inspecting his residence he found siding damage as well as approximately 360 feet of copper wire that had previously been attached from his residence to the power meter, stolen. This case is referred to Detectives.
On 03/17/08 Corporal Bagwell and Deputy Williams were dispatched to Browder Traylor Road, in Conroe, in reference to Theft of Copper at a T-Mobile Tower. A three foot hole had been cut in the fence, graffiti painted on the generator and boxes, and $8000 worth of copper wire had been stolen. The case has been turned over to the Detective Division for follow-up investigation.
District 2 – Lt. Andrew Eason (South County/Woodlands)
On March 12, 2008, 0102, Deputy Moody observed the driver of a truck traveling west on Rayford Road without headlights. The officer stopped the vehicle and found that the driver was intoxicated. The 28 year old w/m was arrested for DWI.
On March 11, 2008, 1220, Sgt. Moore was dispatched to Lake Woodlands in reference to assisting Harris County Pct 4 with an investigation. A vehicle was stopped and cocaine and ecstasy was found in the pocket of the driver. The w/m age 21 was arrested for possession of a controlled substance.
On March 9, 2008, 2000, Deputy Hernandez was dispatched to Gosling Road for a major vehicle accident. A driver w/f age 44 was arrested for DWI and the passenger w/m age 40 was arrested for public intoxication.
District 3 – Lt. Jim Fleming (East County)
On March 10, Deputy J. Amstutz was sent to the 15400 block of Firetower Road in reference to a family violence assault call. On arrival the Deputy met with the female complainant who advised she was assaulted by her husband. After a verbal argument the male hit her on the nose with a closed fist. He then grabbed her and threw her on the floor, pulled her hair and placed his hands around her neck. After several more hair pulls and being thrown to the floor she was able to get away and call 9-1-1. The 32 year old male from New Caney was arrested at 11:00am for the assault and also for four traffic warrants out of JP 4 Montgomery County. He was transported to jail.
On March 12, Deputy J. Guion was dispatched to the area of Loop 494 and Gasoline Alley in reference to an intoxicated female. On arrival the Deputy located the female and detained her. The 43 year old female from New Caney was arrested at 3:48pm and transported to jail.
On March 12, Deputy D. Rippley was notified of a family violence assault call in the 16500 block of Hickory Road. The Deputy met with the male complainant who advised he and his brother had been in an argument and that his brother had punched him numerous times. The Deputy observed the complainant to have bruising and swelling. The 24 year old male from Conroe was arrested at 7:20pm and transported to jail.
On March 13, Deputy L. Ray responded to a possible attempted suicide call at the intersection of FM 1314 and Dunn Lane. On arrival the Deputy located a male that had been running into the street attempting to get run over. The male was found to be highly intoxicated. The 45 year old male from Porter was arrested at 1:00am and transported to jail.
On March 13, Deputy K. Koonce was sent to the 27300 block of Spanish Oaks in reference to an aggravated assault. The Deputy met with the male complainant who advised he had been assaulted by several males with a tire iron. The males had damaged a vehicle and the complainant had seen them and questioned what they were doing when the males assaulted him. They then fled the scene on bicycles. Two of the males, a 19 year old and a 24 year old, both from New Caney, were arrested at 1:58am and transported to jail.
On March 13, Deputies G. Harman and J. Bruce were notified of a disturbance in progress at 5:48pm in the 17300 block of FM 1485. On arrival the Deputies were advised of a noise disturbance and that some individuals were seen carrying copper wire out of an apartment. The Deputies got a description of the vehicle and of the individuals involved. Later the Deputies located the vehicle and the two males involved in the area of Hwy 242 and FM 1485. One of the males, a 23 year old, from New Caney, was arrested at 8:30pm for theft of copper, possession of a criminal instrument and for a theft from a person warrant and a blue warrant. The other male, 22 years of age, also from New Caney was also arrested at 8:30pm for the copper theft and possession of a criminal instrument. Both were transported to jail.
On March 15, Deputies K. Koonce and P. Rex were sent to the 26800 block of Frye Road in reference to a welfare concern. The Deputies were advised by the reportee that a female inside the residence was intoxicated and was concerned that she might set the house on fire. The Deputies made contact with the female and found her to be in possession of a controlled substance and dangerous drugs. The 24 year old female from Splendora was arrested at 2:54am and transported to jail.
On March 15, Deputy G. Harman was dispatched to the Wal-Mart in Porter in reference to a theft call. On arrival the Deputy met with the loss prevention officer who was detaining a female who had taken $165.73 worth of merchandise and left the store without paying for the items. The 37 year old female from New Caney was arrested at 5:45pm and transported to jail.
On March 16, Deputy C. Evans was notified of a disturbance in progress in the 20100 block of Hwy 59. The Deputy was told a male had been attempting to start a fight with several persons on location. The Deputy observed the male to be intoxicated. The 24 year old male from Spring was arrested at 3:48am and transported to jail.
Warrants served:
A 30 year old male from Conroe was arrested at 4:50pm, March 10, in the 19600 block of FM 1485 by Deputy G. Harman for a civil failure to appear warrant out of Montgomery County. The Deputy was assisting another agency. He was transported to jail.
A 21 year old male from Houston was arrested at 11:25am, March 11, in the area of Hwy 59 between North Park and Kingwood by Corporal D. Miller for a DWI warrant and a purchase, furnish alcohol to minors warrant out of Montgomery County. The Deputy received the male from a DPS unit. The male was transported to jail.
A 25 year old female from Conroe was arrested at 8:30pm, March 13, in the area of Hwy 242 and FM 1485 by Deputy G. Harman for a possession of controlled substance warrant and a possession of a dangerous drug warrant out of Montgomery County. The female was with two males that were arrested for copper theft at the same time. The female was transported to jail.
A 23 year old female from New Caney was arrested at 1:16pm, March 14, in the 22800 block of Community Drive by Deputy C. Azwell for a driving while license invalid warrant out of Montgomery County. The Deputy was on a motor vehicle accident scene. The female was transported to jail.
A 27 year old male from New Caney was arrested at 5:00pm, March 14, in the 21000 block of Loop 494 by Deputy J. Howze for a failure to appear warrant out of Liberty County. The Deputy was investigating a disturbance. The male was transported to jail.
A 23 year old male from New Caney was arrested at 10:00pm, March 16, in the 25800 block of Marella Drive by Deputy G. Harman for a possession of marijuana warrant and an assault warrant out of Montgomery County. The Deputy was on location in reference to stolen property. The male was transported to jail.
District 4 – Lt. Art Galloway (West County)
On 3/11/08 Deputy E. Hollan and Cpl. F. Webb met with a complainant on Sandy Hill Dr., Montgomery, TX in reference to the burglary of a building. The building is a 5 bay garage/shop building located behind the residence. Equipment stolen from the building valued at approximately $7,500. Case referred to Criminal Investigation Division.
On 3/11/08 Deputy J. Herman was dispatched to Decker Prairie Rosehill Rd. in reference to burglary of a building. Upon arrival he met with the complainant who stated when he went to his work shop he discovered the lock on the walk in door missing and that his air compressor (value $600) had been stolen. Case referred to Criminal Investigation Division.
On 3/12/08 Deputy A. Sumrall assisted a complainant who came to the District 4 Patrol Office to report the burglary of a building. The complainant stated the door had been left unlocked on the small storage building at her residence and someone had stolen various items totaling $250. Case referred to Criminal Investigation Division.
On 3/13/08 Deputy H. Suarez was dispatched to an aggravated assault (family violence) call on 13906 Stagecoach Rd., Stagecoach, TX. Upon arrival he met with two white female complainants and obtained statements for the report. Both females were arrested and transported to Conroe. Case referred to District and County Attorney’s office for prosecution.
On 3/13/08 Deputy A. Gurka was dispatched to Nola, Pinehurst, TX in reference to theft of copper wire. When she arrived on location she met with the complainant and gathered information for the report. It will cost the church approximately $500 to replace the copper wire and repair the damage. Case referred to Criminal Investigation Division.
On 3/15/08 Deputy K. Krolczyk was dispatched to Rolling Forest Dr, Magnolia in reference to burglary of a habitation. Upon arrival she met with two complainants who provided information for the report. They stated approximately $4,250 worth of items were removed from the home that is on the market “for sale”. Case referred to Criminal Investigation Division.
On 3/16/08 Deputy A. Gurka was dispatched to Timbergreen Dr. in Magnolia in reference to a criminal mischief report. When Deputy Gurka arrived on location she met with the complainant who stated he parked his 2001 Ford Expedition at the end of his driveway on 3/15/08. When he went to get the newspaper on the morning of 3/16/08 he noticed the back glass had been broken out of the vehicle. Cost to replace the glass is $750. Case referred to Criminal Investigation Division.
On 3/16/08 Deputy K. Krolczyk was dispatched to Stone Oak Dr, Montgomery, TX regarding a theft of copper call. Deputy Krolczyk met with the complainant at the residence which is under construction. Copper wire and a Synergy A/C meter box were stolen for a loss of approximately $2,000. Information and evidence were obtained for the report. Case referred to Criminal Investigation Division.
On 3/16/08 Cpl. P. Smith was dispatched to Saw Oaks Drive, Magnolia in reference to a criminal mischief call. When Cpl. Smith arrived he met with the complainant who stated someone had thrown a large rock at her car breaking the rear glass. This incident occurred while the complainant was inside her office. Cpl. Smith observed the rock still inside the car and obtained information for the report. Cost to replace the rear glass in the 2006 Ford Mustang is $750.Case referred to Criminal Investigation Division.
On 3/17/08 Deputy J. Urban was dispatched to meet with an AT&T supervisor for information and a report on theft of copper wire. The value of the 225 feet of 900 pair wire is $6,000. Case referred to Criminal Investigation Division.
District 5 – Lt. Don Lacy (Northwest County)
March 10, 2008 @ 12:54 pm. Deputy R. Garlock responded to a Theft call in the 1200 block of Dr. Martin Luther King Blvd. The complainant said unknown suspect(s) cut the electric wires from a trailer home to the breaker box. The suspect(s) were after the copper wire. The suspect(s) also damaged the front door and the frame to the door. The complainant said the loss was over $300. This case referred to the Detective Division for follow up.
March 10, 2008 @ 9:41 am. Deputy Blackwell responded to a Theft call in the 9900 block of Pine Point Dr. The complainant said unknown suspect(s) went behind his home a stole a home-made go-cart valued at $450. There were no witnesses to the theft. This case will be forwarded to the Auto Theft Task Force for follow up.
District 6 – Lt. David Dottei (Town Center)
On March 10, 2008, 1030, Deputy Whitworth was traveling south on IH-45 when he stopped to check the welfare of a male (age 34) walking on the side of the road. While talking with the person the officer noticed that the person had red blood shot eyes. The officer found 1.9 grams of crack cocaine. The male was arrested for possession of a controlled substance and transported to the county jail.
On March 6, 2008, Deputy Conklin was dispatched to Lake Robbins in reference to a welfare check. When he arrived he arrived he found that a Hispanic male age 26 had been asked to leave the private property on numerous occasions. The male was arrested for criminal trespass and taken to the county jail.
