On March 5, 2008, a report was made to the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office of an unknown Hispanic male driving a teal rag top Mustang who had approached a young female at her bus stop asking her if she needed a ride home. The male repeatedly asked her if she needed a ride and he eventually exited his car and grabbed the female by the arm. The female was able to pull away from the suspect. The suspect left and returned shortly stating to the victim that she had not seen the last of him.
On March 6, 2008, MCSO Detectives and Patrol began looking for the suspect and his vehicle. On March 7, 2008, the suspect was pulled over in a traffic stop. Upon further investigation, the suspect and his vehicle were positively identified by the victim as the one who had approached her at her bus stop on March 5.
A warrant for Jorge Fuentes’ arrest was issued on March 17, 2008. Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office Detectives arrested Jorge A. Fuentes for Unlawful Restraint. Fuentes was booked into the Montgomery County Jail with a $10,000 bond. Fuentes posted bond and was released from the Montgomery County Jail on Tuesday, March 18, 2008.
