Spring, TX (Montgomery County Monitor) – At approximately 4:00 a.m. Wednesday morning, Timber Lakes Volunteer Fire Department and The Woodlands Fire Department were dispatched to a residential fire on Timber Lakes Drive near Nodding Pines. At the time the call was dispatched, information indicated individuals may still be inside the burning structure.Woodlands’ units soon arrived on-scene indicating there was a working residential fire. Timber Lakes units arrived soon thereafter.
Witnesses stated two Woodlands firefighters, John Lampl and Justin Bumpass, rescued one female from the burning structure. Shortly afterwards, at approximately 4:20 a.m., command made the decision to go to a defensive mode. Firefighters then attacked the fire from the outside using a deck-gun mounted on one of the fire engines.Two individuals were transported by ground to Houston treatment facilities and one individual was transported by ground to a local treatment facility.
A representative from the Montgomery County Fire Marshal’s Office arrived on scene to begin an investigation into the cause of the fire.
No other injuries were noted.
