District 1 – Lt. Darrel Conn (North County)

On 04/08/08 Deputy Ray was dispatched to Arbor Oak Road, in Willis, in reference to a Disturbance in Progress. Two arrests were made. A forty-six year old female and a twenty-seven year old male were charged with Assault – Family Violence. Both charges are referred to the Justice Court for disposition.

On 4/10/08 Corporal Bagwell was dispatched to Camp Creek Road, in Willis, in reference to a Disturbance in Progress. The investigation revealed that a fourteen year old male had become extremely aggressive when questioned about his cell phone bill. He had reportedly been making three-way calling to the state of California. His aggression led to damaged property inside the residence and a very high possibility of further physical violence and/or injury may occur if allowed to stay at the residence. The fourteen year old male was taken into custody and transported to Montgomery County Juvenile Detention pending a charge of Family Violence – Criminal Mischief. Disposition is pending.

On 4/10/08 Sergeant Ward was dispatched to IH45 at Shepard Hill area in reference to a Rolling Disturbance inside a vehicle. Sergeant Ward located the suspect vehicle parked on the edge of the highway. The vehicle was occupied by a female driver, male front passenger and a female rear passenger. A disturbance had reportedly occurred when the male passenger attempted to remove the ignition keys while the vehicle was still moving along the highway. The male suspect then reportedly slapped and struggled with the driver while the vehicle was still moving. The female driver was able to get the vehicle stopped and waited for the Sheriff’s Office to arrive. A sixty-three year old male was arrested and transported to Central Jail and charged with Deadly Conduct for his actions. Charges are pending prosecution.

On 4/10/08 Corporal Bagwell was dispatched to the 9500 block of Darkwood, in Willis, in reference to a Disturbance in Progress. The case was cleared by the arrest of a thirty-four year old male and a fifty-two year old female for Disorderly Conduct. The male was also charged with Possession of a Prohibited Substance, “XANAX”, without a prescription.

District 2 – Lt. Andrew Eason (South County/Woodlands)

On 04/13/2008, 0147, Sgt. J. Jenkins was on routine patrol in the area of Cranebrook Park. The park closes at dark and Sgt. Jenkins observed a vehicle parked and when he checked, he found 2 occupants half dressed lying on the passenger seat. A faint odor of marijuana was detected. The occupants dressed and stepped from the vehicle. The male driver, W/M, 17, had glassy eyes and appeared to be very nervous. The driver stated he had not drunk alcohol or smoked marijuana. A verbal consent was granted for a search and three amounts of marijuana were found inside the vehicle. The driver and passenger, W/F, 17, were arrested for Possession of Marijuana, M/A.

Deputy D. Weatherford was dispatched to I 45 and SH 242 in reference to a possible intoxicated male driver. A vehicle matching the description was located and a traffic stop was made by Deputy Weatherford and Deputy R. Moody. The driver, W/M, 37, had strong odor of alcohol on his breath and person. The driver consented to field sobriety tests and it was determined, he was intoxicated. The driver was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated, SJF.

On 04/16/2008, 2024, Deputy T. McCoy was dispatched to 1025 Sawdust in reference to a Theft in Progress. Upon arrival, Deputy McCoy met with store employees who advised two males entered the store and chose a 42″ LCD flat screen TV and exited through the garden department, paying for the TV with gift cards. Another male entered the store and chose the same type of TV and exited through the garden department attempting to use the same receipt issued earlier. The three black males, ages 49, 36 and 51 were detained and after search and investigation, the three were charged with Organized Crime, SJF, Credit Card Abuse, SJF and Possession of Controlled Substance, F2.

While on routine patrol on 04/19/2008, 2008, Deputy T. McCoy observed a driver loose control of his vehicle several times and veering into other lanes of traffic. A traffic stop was made and the male driver, 18, and juvenile female passenger were interviewed. A strong odor of burned marijuana was coming from inside the car. Driver admitted to having marijuana in the vehicle and gave consent to search. Deputy McCoy found the marijuana and driver was arrested for Possession of Marijuana, M/B. Juvenile passenger was released to her father.

On 04/20/2008, 0104, Deputy K. Christensen was dispatched to a vehicle accident in the 2500 block of I-45 S. Deputy made contact with white female driver, 23, and smelled the odor of alcohol coming from the driver’s breath. Driver admitted to having two glasses of wine. The driver agreed to field sobriety tests and it was determined she was intoxicated. She was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated, M/B.

District 3 – Lt. Jim Fleming (East County)

On April 16, Deputies K. Koonce and J. Bruce were notified of an attempted aggravated assault in the area of Morgan Cemetery Road. The male complainant was waiting for law enforcement at FM 2090 and Hwy 59. Upon speaking with the complainant the Deputies were advised a male had attempted to strike him with a baseball bat and saying he was going to kill the complainant. A Splendora P. D. Officer observed the suspect drive by the location and detained him. Witnesses confirmed the complainant’s statement. The 18 year old male from Cleveland was arrested at 5:00pm and transported to jail.

On April 17, Deputies K. Koonce and J. Bruce were sent on a trespass call in the 18000 block of Oak Drive. An ex-boyfriend was intoxicated at the residence of the female complainant stated she wanted him off her property. The 33 year old male from Conroe was arrested at 6:30pm and transported to jail.

On April 17, Deputy C. Murray was dispatched to the 19400 block of FM 1485 in reference to a traffic hazard. A female at the location was found to be highly intoxicated. The 28 year old female was arrested at 11:22pm and transported to jail.

On April 18, Deputy R. Meredith responded to the 23400 block of FM 1485 in reference to a disturbance. The Deputy met with a male who advised he had been threatened by another male on location. As the Deputy approached the male walked away. The Deputy stopped the male and the male became aggressive toward the Deputy. Other officers arrived and the male was detained. The male started threatening all officers on the scene. The 43 year old male, unknown address, was arrested at 5:00pm and transported to jail.

On April 20, Deputies J. Walker and C. Murray were sent to the area of Gabriel and Hwy 59 in reference to a burglary in progress. One of the Deputies noticed a male running from the stair well of a church. Both Deputies then gave chase and caught the male. The 48 year old male from Porter was arrested at 5:35am and was charged with evading arrest, use of a criminal instrument and theft of copper. He was transported to jail.

On April 20, Deputy A. Cross was dispatched to the 16000 block of Oak Creek Circle in reference to a family violence assault call. On arrival the Deputy met with the female complainant who advised she was assaulted by her ex-husband when she went to pick her son up. The male followed her into the house, grabbed her and pushed her against the door. He was cursing her and yelling at her. He grabbed a bungee cord and put it around her neck attempting to choke her. She then attempted to leave and the male struck her on the side of the face. The male then grabbed a bicycle helmet and struck the vehicle that the female had come in causing damage. The 42 year old male from Splendora was arrested at 4:41pm and transported to jail.

On April 20, Deputy J. Guion was notified of a family violence assault call in the 19100 block of Big Oak. On arrival the Deputy met with the female complainant who advised she had been assaulted by her husband who had left the scene. The male was upset after the wife made accusations against him. She advised the male choked her and after freeing herself called law enforcement. As the Deputy was gathering information the male returned to the location. The 38 year old male from Conroe was arrested at 8:30pm and transported to jail.

Warrants served:
A 30 year old female from Kingwood was arrested at 2:40am, April 15, in the 200 block of Northpark Drive by Deputy C. Evans for a possession of a controlled substance warrant out of Montgomery County. Humble P. D. had the female detained. The female was taken to jail.

A 22 year old female from Splendora was arrested at 7:36pm, April 15, in the 21400 block of Davis Road by Deputy C. Turrentine for a failure to appear warrant out of Montgomery County. The Deputy had received a tip on the female’s location. The female was taken to jail.

A 33 year old female from New Caney was arrested at 11:00am, April 16, at the Luby’s parking lot in Kingwood by Corporal K. Hayden for a possession of a dangerous drug warrant, DWI 2nd warrant and a theft warrant out of Montgomery County. The Deputy had received the female from a Humble DPS Trooper. The female was transported to jail.

A 48 year old female from Conroe was arrested at 12:45am, April 16, in the 15700 block of Buggy Lane by Deputies K. Koonce and J. Bruce for a theft warrant out of Harris County. The Deputies were conducting a warrant service. The female was transported to jail.

A 28 year old female from Conroe was arrested at 9:00pm, April 16, in 14700 block of Quinett by Deputy J. Guion and Sgt. B. Welch for a bond revocation warrant out of Montgomery County. She was on the fugitive warrant list. The Deputies were conducting a warrant service. The female was transported to jail.

A 28 year old male from Splendora was arrested at 1:00pm, April 17, in the area of Morgan Cemetery and Fostoria Roads by Corporal K. Hayden for three traffic warrants out of JP 4 Montgomery County. The male was stopped on a traffic violation. He was taken to jail.

A 25 year old male from Splendora was arrested at 10:30pm, April 17, in the 13900 block of Morgan Drive by Deputies J. Bruce and K. Koonce for an intoxication assault warrant out of Montgomery County. The Deputies were conducting a warrant service. The male was on the fugitive warrant list. The male was transported to jail.

A 44 year old male from Cleveland was arrested at 10:00am, April 18, by Deputy J. Armstrong for an unlawful possession of a firearm by felon warrant out of Montgomery County. The Deputy met with a Liberty County officer who was detaining the male. The male was transported to jail.

A 20 year old male from Conroe was arrested at 12:47am, April 19, in the 14500 block of FM 1485 by Deputy C. Murray for a theft of property warrant out of Benton County, Arkansas. The Deputy was investigating a disturbance. The male was transported to jail.

A 21 year old male from Porter was arrested at 7:31am, April 19, in the area of Loop 494 and Ford Road by Deputy J. Amstutz for a burglary of a habitation/parole violation warrant out of Austin. The male was stopped on a traffic violation. The male was transported to jail.

A 42 year old male from Porter was arrested at 3:06pm, April 20, in the 22500 block of Era Lane by Deputy C. Azwell for a theft by check warrant out of Montgomery County. The male was a passenger in a vehicle stopped for a traffic violation. The male was transported to jail.

District 4 – Lt. Art Galloway (West County)

On 4/15/08 Deputy E. Hollan and her partner Deputy A. Sumrall were dispatched to Post Oak Court in Magnolia in reference to burglary of a habitation and burglary of a motor vehicle. They met with the complainants and obtained the necessary information. The vehicle was dusted for latent prints and prints were lifted off the outside window. Total dollar loss from home and vehicle estimated at $4,050. The evidence was submitted to the crime lab and the case was referred to detectives.

On 4/16/08 Cpl. P. Smith was dispatched to North Dogwood Lane in Magnolia in reference to burglary of a habitation and burglary of a motor vehicle. Upon his arrival he met with the complainant who stated someone (2 known suspects) had entered her home and her vehicle and stolen her property. Estimated dollar loss of items and to replace vehicle window is $4,850.00. This case was referred to detectives.

On 4/17/08 Deputy A. Sumrall was dispatched to Longneck Dr. in reference to a theft past call. Upon his arrival he met with the complainant, a witness, and 2 suspects. After speaking with the aforementioned people Deputy Sumrall arrested one of the suspects. The report was taken and the case referred to the detectives. The arrested person was transported to the jail in Conroe.

On 4/18/08 Deputy G. Kerr was dispatched to Nichols Saw Mill in reference to burglary of a vehicle report. When Deputy Kerr arrived at the location he met with the complainant who stated someone had broken the door glass on his Chevy pick-up and stolen his stereo system and speakers. Total loss plus cost to replace drivers side window is estimated at $1,600. Case referred to detectives.

On 4/19/08 Sgt. J. Valenzuela was dispatched to Able Lane in Magnolia in reference to theft of copper call. When Sgt. Valenzuela arrived he met with the complainant who stated two a/c condenser units and 100 feet of copper wire were missing from his rental property. The approximated dollar loss is $1,562. Case referred to detectives.

On 4/19/08 Deputy D. Birch along with his partner Deputy T.R. Slusher was dispatched to Abilene St. in Magnolia in reference to burglary of a habitation and burglary of a building. Upon arrival they met with the complainant and obtained information for the report. Several items had been stolen which included a rifle, a revolver, cash, and a pressure washer. Dollar value loss estimated by the complainant is $2,450. Case referred to detectives.

On 4/21/08 Deputy D. Birch along with his partner Deputy T.R. Slusher was dispatched to Marvin Gardens in Magnolia in reference to burglary of a habitation. When they arrived at the scene Deputy Birch met with the complainant and obtained information for the report. The complainant stated that while she was gone from her home for the day someone had gained entry through and unlocked door and stolen various items of jewelry and some currency. The total loss for the complainant is estimated at $2,875. Case referred to detectives.

District 5 – Lt. Don Lacy (Northwest County)

No information provided.

District 6 – Lt. David Dottei (Town Center)

On 04/16/2008, 1237, Deputy R. Almendarez was dispatched to 1320 Lake Robbins in reference to a shoplifter in custody. Suspect, W/F, 42, had concealed three pairs of shoes in her bag and exited the store without attempting to pay for the merchandise. She was arrested for Theft, M/B.

Deputy S. Spencer was dispatched to 1201 Lake Woodlands in reference to a shoplifter in custody. Loss Prevention personnel advised two white females concealed items of clothing in their purses and exited the store without paying. Both suspects were taken into custody for Theft, M/B.

On 04/19/2008, 0045, Deputy T. Conklin received a call from security officer at 1601 Lake Robbins advising a guest was refusing to pay his bar tab of $91.24. Deputy received three voluntary statements from witnesses and receipts showing the amounts accumulated. The deputy met with the suspect and he had no ID, but said he had a Georgia DL. Dispatched advised the Georgia DL was suspended. He arrested for Theft of Service, M/B.
