South Montgomery County
Robbery (Individual)
On April 28, 2008, at approximately 7 PM, Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office patrol deputies were dispatched to the Holiday Inn Express located on IH 45 in South Montgomery County. Deputies met with a 55 year old jewelry dealer from New York who told officers that he had been robbed and beaten.
The victim told deputies that 3 to 4 Hispanic males, all wearing black with their faces covered, pulled him from his car in the parking lot, taking his wallet and an estimated $600,000 worth of various precious loose stones.
The suspects fled in what is believed to be a late model black Honda Accord. Sheriff’s Office detectives are conducting the follow-up investigation.
