MCSO/SIU Press Release – Narcotics Warrants

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

On April 29th, 2008, the members of Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office Special Investigations Unit executed a narcotics search warrant in the 19000 block of Red Oaks in East Montgomery County. Once inside the residence, several people were found in the living room area. We found several scales for measuring drugs and a small amount was on the scales and tested positive for methamphetamine. During the investigation, more methamphetamine was found in the master bedroom area along with several MDMA (Ecstasy Pills). Found in the possession of the female was approximately $1200 cash.

Floch, Lana Diane W/F Born in 1967, she was also arrested by Pct 4 Constable on April 2nd for the same charge.

During our surveillance of this residence, we watched what appeared to be a drug transaction, and as the vehicle left the area, it was stopped by the uniform deputy of SIU. On the person of one of the suspect, more methamphetamine was found.

The members of Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office SIU along with Conroe Office of DPS Narcotics executed a narcotics search warrant in the area of Parson Valley Drive in the City of Conroe. Several people were found inside the home, and in the process, an amount of cocaine along with the cough syrup was found. Four people were arrested involving narcotics sells and possibly illegal aliens living at this residence. ICE agent was contacted involving the illegal alien and ICE agent is in the process of placing an ICE hold on suspect. Also found was approximately $1200 in cash.

The members of Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office SIU along with District 2 Patrol Division executed a narcotics search warrant in the 24000 block of Richards Road, Spring Texas. This investigation started with several complaints coming from concern citizens in the area about drug dealing coming from the apartment. The information was obtained and Judge Connelly signed the search warrant. Two people were found inside the apartment, along with scales, and several mason jars full of hydroponic marijuana. The male was found upstairs and the female was downstairs next to the scale and a mason jar full of hydroponic marijuana. During the search, several bottles of pills of a controlled substance, Ambien, were found.

M/C = Class C Misdemeanor – Punishable by a fine not to exceed $500.
SJF = State Jail Felony – Punishable by a fine not to exceed $10,000 and confinement in state jail for 180 days to 2 years.
F3 = 3rd Degree Felony – Punishable by a fine not to exceed $10,000 and confinement in state jail for 2 to 10 years.
F2 = 2nd Degree Felony – Punishable by a fine not to exceed $10,000 and confinement in state jail for 2 to 20 years.
F1 = 1st Degree Felony – Punishable by a fine not to exceed $10,000 and confinement in state jail for 5 to 99 years.
