MCSO/SIU Press Release – Narcotics Warrant- Jones

On Friday, May 23, 2008, The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office Special Investigations Unit served a narcotics search warrant on an address on South Magnolia Drive in Conroe, Texas. The SIU had received TIPS that methamphetamine was being sold from this residence. The SIU conducted surveillance and was able to establish probable cause for a search warrant. Judge T. Spikes approved the warrant which was served at approximately 2 pm.

During the search 4-200 grams of methamphetamine was recovered that was packaged for sale. A digital scale, syringes, firearms, ecstasy pills and a small amount of marijuana were also recovered. The two occupants of the residence were arrested and placed into the Montgomery County Jail.

B/M = Black Male
W/F = White Female
B/F = Black Female
M/A = Class A Misdemeanor – Punishable by a fine not to exceed $4,000 and/or a maximum of one year in jail.
M/B = Class B Misdemeanor – Punishable by a fine not to exceed $2,000 and/or a maximum of 180 days in jail.
M/C = Class C Misdemeanor – Punishable by a fine not to exceed $500.
SJF = State Jail Felony – Punishable by a fine not to exceed $10,000 and confinement in state jail for 180 days to 2 years.
F3 = 3rd Degree Felony – Punishable by a fine not to exceed $10,000 and confinement in state jail for 2 to 10 years.
F2 = 2nd Degree Felony – Punishable by a fine not to exceed $10,000 and confinement in state jail for 2 to 20 years.
F1 = 1st Degree Felony – Punishable by a fine not to exceed $10,000 and confinement in state jail for 5 to 99 years.
SFST = Standardized Field Sobriety Test
