District 2 – Lt. Andrew Eason (South County/Woodlands)

On 05/17/2008, 1031, Deputies T. Ward and D. Everton responded to the area of Gosling and Marisco in reference to a possible drunk driver. The reported vehicle was located off the roadway after striking a trash can. The driver, W/M, 39, advised he was lost and had run out of gas. The driver gave consent to search the vehicle and several clear crystal substances were found and tested to be Methamphetamines. Driver was arrested for Possession of a Controlled Substance, SJF.

Deputy K. Wakefield made an initiated a traffic stop on 05/23/08, 1230, after driver, W/M, 18, failed to signal his turn. While making contact with the driver, Deputy Wakefield smelled the strong odor of burned marijuana coming from the vehicle. Driver gave consent to search the vehicle and a small black metal pipe with a green leafy substance was found. The driver was arrested for Possession of Marijuana, M/B.

District 3 – Lt. Jim Fleming (East County)

District 4 – Lt. Art Galloway

On 5/27/08 Deputy E. Hollan was dispatched to Longneck in Magnolia in reference to the theft of a vehicle. When Deputy arrived on scene she met with the complainant who provided information for the report. The vehicle is valued at $5,000. Case referred to detectives.

On 5/27/08 Cpl F. Webb was dispatched to Brushy Oaks in reference to burglary of a vehicle. The unlocked vehicle (truck) was parked in front of the mobile hone. Some one removed and air compressor and a chop saw from inside the truck. Approximate value of the two tools $600. Case referred to detectives.

On 5/28/08 Cpl. P. Smith was dispatched to West Memory Lane in Magnolia in reference to criminal mischief. Upon arrival he met with the complainant who stated that on three separate occasions starting on 5/8/08 items outside of his home have been damaged. This includes damage to on of the complainant’s vehicles. Estimated dollar amount of damage is $1220. Case closed due to lack of investigative information.

On 5/28/08 Cpl. F. Webb met with a complainant on Carol Lane in Decker Oakes Estates in reference to a theft report. The theft of $5,000 cash occurred inside the complainant’s home and a family member is the likely suspect. This case referred to detectives.

On 5/29/08 Cpl. F. Webb was dispatched to Prince Charles in Montgomery, TX in reference to theft of jewelry. When she arrived on location she met with the complainant who provided the details for the report. The approximate value of the missing jewelry according to the complainant is $7541. The complainant also provided a suspect name. This case referred to detectives.

On 5/30/08 Deputy J. Herman was dispatched to Chad Ct. in Magnolia in reference to an assault. Upon arrival he met with all parties involved (complainants and witnesses). He also contacted EMS to check on one of the parties involved in assault. EMS transported the person to Tomball Hospital. This case was referred to JP5 for the citations issued.

On 5/31/08 Sgt. J. Valenzuela was dispatched to S. Sugar Maple in Magnolia in reference to a criminal mischief report. Upon arrival Sgt. Valenzuela collected the information for the report from the complainant who stated that someone had “keyed” his 2005 Chevrolet Silverado truck on both sides. The doors and side panels were damaged. The estimated cost to repair both sides is $1,000. Case referred to detectives.

On 5/31/08 Deputy D. LaSalle and Deputy T.R. Slusher were dispatched to El Paso St. in Magnolia in reference to the burglary of a motor vehicle. When they arrived Deputy LaSalle met with the complainant who stated that someone had taken his APPLE IPOD, KOSS EARBUDS, and $30 in currency from his vehicle. Total loss estimated at $215. Case referred to detectives.

On 6/1/08 Deputy D. LaSalle and Deputy T.R. Slusher were dispatched to S. Sugar Maple Circle in Magnolia in reference to a report of criminal mischief. When they arrived at the location Deputy LaSalle met with the complainant to obtain information for the report. The complainant’s 2006 Jeep Grand Cherokee had been scratched from bumper to bumper on the passenger side. The estimated to repair the damage is $1,500. Case referred to detectives.

District 5 – Lt. Don Lacy (Northwest County)

May 27, 2008 at 10:25 PM Deputy Farmer responded to the 100 Block of Parkway Lane in regards to the burglary of a vehicle. Upon arrival the investigation revealed where someone had made forced entry into the complainant’s vehicle and stole a laptop computer. The value of the computer was estimated to be $2,000.

May 28, 2008 at 5:28 PM Cpl. Wilkins responded to the 1700 Block of Snug Harbor off of SH 105 W. for the report of a stolen vehicle. Upon arrival the investigation revealed that someone stole the complainant’s 2002 Harley Davidson motorcycle from a condo complex parking garage. The case is currently under investigation by the Auto Theft Task Force. The value of the motorcycle was estimated to be $12,000.

May 29, 2008 at 10:07 PM Deputy Lowe responded to the 600 Block of St. Lawrence River Rd. in regards to a disturbance in progress. Upon arrival the investigation revealed that the female complainant, resident at this address, called because her ex-husband came to her home making threats and would not leave. When the complainant was on the phone with 911, her ex-husband cut the power to the home to disconnect her phone service. The suspect was arrested for Interfering with an emergency phone call and placed in the Montgomery County Jail on $750 Bond.

May 31, 2008 at 9:23 PM Cpl. Wilkins and Deputy Jackson responded to the 14600 Block of SH 105 W. in regards to a sexual assault. Upon arrival officers located the female complainant and detained the male suspect while conducting the investigation. At the conclusion of the investigation, the suspect was arrested for sexual assault and placed in the Montgomery County Jail on $50,000 Bond. The suspect is currently on parole from TDC.

May 31, 2008 at 12:18 PM Deputy Jordan responded to the 3200 Block of Poe in regards to a theft. Upon arrival the investigation revealed where someone had stolen an outside central air conditioner unit from the complainant’s home. The value of the air conditioner was estimated to be $1,900.

District 6 – Lt. David Dottei (Town Center)

On 05/21/2008, 2035, Deputy C. Tate was dispatched to 1201 Lake Woodlands Drive in reference to a shoplifter. Upon arrival and after meeting with complainant, a W/F, 18, was arrested for theft and transported to female booking. Arrested was patted down in the booking area and three bags of marijuana and one bag containing Xanex were found hidden in her clothing. She arrested for Theft, M/B, Possession of Marijuana, M/B and Possession of a Controlled Substance, M/A.

Deputy F. Cano was dispatched on 05/28/2008, 2013, to 1201 Lake Woodlands in reference to a possible narcotics offense. The suspect vehicle was located and stopped and as Deputy Cano approached, he smelled a strong odor of burned marijuana coming from inside the cab of the truck. One passenger, W/M, 19, admitted having marijuana in his backpack and he was detained and later arrested for Possession of Marijuana, M/B. The driver consented to a search of his truck and a baggy containing Soma and a clear plastic baggy containing marijuana, along with a smoking pipe were found in the glove box. The driver, W/M, 19, was arrested for Possession of Marijuana M/A and Possession of a Dangerous Drug, M/A. The second passenger was arrested on a Capias Warrant for Assault.

F2 = 2nd Degree Felony – Punishable by a fine not to exceed $10,000 and confinement in state jail for 2 to 20 years.
F1 = 1st Degree Felony – Punishable by a fine not to exceed $10,000 and confinement in state jail for 5 to 99 years.
