MCSO/SIU Press Release – Narcotics Warrant- Ballard, Moore

The members of Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office SIU executed a narcotics search warrant in the 24000 block of Hwy 105 East in regards to marijuana being grown on the property. Once on location, approximately 124 marijuana plants were found along with more marijuana inside the residence. During the investigation, $23,000 in cash was found,mostly 100 dollar bills, and $3000 of this was coins, mainly Nichols and quarters. Several weapons were found on the property, (pistols and 1 rifle). Also found was on location was several pipes, scales and small amount of methamphetamine.

M/C = Class C Misdemeanor – Punishable by a fine not to exceed $500.
SJF = State Jail Felony – Punishable by a fine not to exceed $10,000 and confinement in state jail for 180 days to 2 years.
F3 = 3rd Degree Felony – Punishable by a fine not to exceed $10,000 and confinement in state jail for 2 to 10 years.
F2 = 2nd Degree Felony – Punishable by a fine not to exceed $10,000 and confinement in state jail for 2 to 20 years.
F1 = 1st Degree Felony – Punishable by a fine not to exceed $10,000 and confinement in state jail for 5 to 99 years.
SFST = Standardized Field Sobriety Test
