27936 Pin Oak Splendora, Texas

On 07-22-2008 Deputies from the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office responded to a stabbing call in the 27000 block of Pin Oak in Splendora Texas. Upon officer’s arrival, Medic personnel were trying to stabilize the victim 22 year old Jeffrey Orland Rogers who was suffering from multiple stab wounds to his body.
Medic Personnel transported the victim to Kingwood Emergency Room where he was pronounced dead at approximately 2300 Hours. Deputies learned from witnesses at the scene that the suspect in this case was possibly the victim’s aunt. The aunt was located 2 blocks from the scene and she was identified as Dena Marie Rogers DOB: 10-19-76 (31 Y.O.A).
The suspect was transported to Northeast Medical Center in Humble to be treated for a cut to her hand and then released by the hospital at which time she was arrested for Murder and transported to the Montgomery County Jail.
Justice of the Peace, Pct. 4 Judge Metts, conducted an inquest and ordered an autopsy. The body of the deceased was then transported to the Southeast Forensic Center awaiting autopsy.
At the time of this press release no bond has been set for Ms. Rogers. The investigation is currently on-going by the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office Major Crimes Unit and Crime Scene Investigators.
