On 07/29/08 at approximately 12:15 A.M. Deputies from Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office responded to 1800 Lake Woodlands Dr at the 24 Hour Fitness in reference to an aggravated robbery. It was found that, a 23 year old female, while in the parking lot was confronted by three black males with guns. The males took her purse and gym bag and fled the scene in a Honda Accord.
The vehicle information was broadcasted to surrounding units. Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office patrol unit Deputy D. Johnson observed the vehicle near Sawdust Rd and Interstate 45 and stopped the vehicle.
The occupants were detained and two guns were recovered from the vehicle. Major Crimes Squad, Detective Zientek and Detective Echols responded to the scene and took statements from the suspects. The suspects admitted to robbing the female and stated that they threw the bag and purse out the window at an unknown location in The Woodlands.
Suspects:
18 year old Lawrence Anderson
17 year old Bradley Alexander
16 year old Juvenile
Charged with Aggravated Robbery.
All suspects had traveled to The Woodlands area from Homestead and US 59 areas where they reside.
