On September 1, 2008, approximately 6:30 pm., Conroe Police officers and Traffic Investigators responded to a fatality accident in the 12000 block of West Davis Street (Hwy 105 west).
The initial investigation revealed the accident involved two motorcycles and a passenger car. The two motorcycles were each occupied by an operator and a passenger. The passenger car was a 2005 Honda Civic occupied by a driver and passenger. All three vehicles were traveling eastbound on West Davis Street.
At this time in the investigation, it appears that one of the motorcycles struck the left rear area of the Honda causing the motorcycle operator to lose control ejecting both the operator and passenger. The second motorcycle was apparently struck by the first motorcycle which caused the riders of the second motorcycle to also be ejected from their motorcycle. The occupants of the passenger car were not injured.

Driver, Donald Neal, 12-20-61, transported to Ben Taub Hospital in Houston in stable condition
Occupant, Deborah Manning Hudson, 11-26-56, transported by air ambulance to Hermann Hospital in Houston, pronounced deceased at the hospital
Motorcycle #2:
Driver, Robert Thomas, 09-27-70, transported to Conroe Medical Center ER, critical condition
Occupant, Mary Alice Sims McNew, 11-22-61, transported to Conroe Medical Center ER, pronounced deceased at the hospital
