Woodlands Resident Found Bound and Assaulted

The Woodlands, Texas (Montgomery County Monitor) – Just before 1:00 p.m. Sunday afternoon, Jim Graves was cleaning his pool when he thought he heard someone calling for help.

Thinking it may be kids or someone playing a joke, Graves began to move towards the area where the voice originated. He crossed a large drainage ditch and entered a wooded area where he heard the voice again calling for help. Convinced someone was indeed in trouble, Mr. Graves dialed 911 to report the situation.

Emergency personnel dispatched to the scene, located in the 100 block of Blue Fox Road in The Woodlands, Texas, found a bound and assaulted, unclothed female.

According to a Montgomery County Sheriff’s press release, sometime Saturday night, a male dressed in all black entered the home and assaulted the victim. The suspect then left the area. The press release also states the mode of entry into the residence may have been a back sliding glass door.

Neighbors in the area did not report seeing or hearing anything suspicious before the victim was discovered.

The victim was transported by ground to a local hospital. Her current condition is unknown.

The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Department is actively investigating this incident.

Anyone with any information is asked to contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-392-STOP ( http://www.montgomerycountycrimestoppers.org ) or Detective Gannucci with the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office Detective Division (936)760-5800.
