On Thursday, November 13, 2008, at approximately 1:30 AM, Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office Dispatch received a 911 call stating that several males were at a neighbor’s residence with several weapons, including a shotgun.
Officers arrived and learned that these males had forced entry in to the victim’s residence with the shotgun and had demanded money and/or property. Males learned that the police had been contacted and fled the scene in a dark colored Ford Ranger pickup and a dark colored Crown Victoria. Officers on scene aired an Attempt to Locate on these vehicles, which were located a short time later by MCSO Patrol Corporal J. Gonzalez on Sawdust Road near I-45, and a felony traffic stop was conducted. The weapons used in the robbery were located in the vehicles by patrol officers, and the suspects were arrested.
MCSO Major Crimes Unit detectives were called to the location and interviewed the suspects. During that interview, detectives learned that this is apparently an isolated incident caused by a prior conflict and that all parties knew each other. Anyone with information should contact Detective Paul Hahs Sr at 936-760-5811.
