At approximately 7:00 p.m. Saturday evening a three car motor vehicle accident occurred on Sawdust Road near South Millbend Drive in Spring, Texas.
Two passengers of a silver Ford Focus were entrapped for approximately 15 minutes as a result of the collision.
The Woodlands Fire Department and South County Volunteer Fire Department worked to extricate the entrapped passengers.
Witnesses claim the Focus failed to maintain a single lane of traffic. The vehicle reportedly crossed the center-line and collided with another vehicle, spinning 180 degrees before impacting a black passenger vehicle (BMW).
Radio reports and eyewitness reports indicate at least three individuals were transported to local hospitals by ground ambulances.
It appears there were no serious injuries.
Eastbound and westbound lanes were closed for more than one hour.
