On 12-05-2008 at 1100 hours, Detectives from the Montgomery Co. Sheriff’s Office issued a missing persons flier on Nathan Allen Newman who had not been seen since Dec 03, 2008 after he left for work in his vehicle. This subject was considered endangered due to his recent mental status and a missing weapon from his residence.
At approximately 1330 hours, Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office Dispatch received a call from a private citizen stating that they had found a vehicle in the 20900 Blk of Taliaferro in the Northwest portion of Montgomery County. The vehicle is confirmed to be registered to the above listed missing person.
A deceased male was located inside the vehicle and it is believed that the deceased is Nathan Allen Newman, although no positive identification has been made at this time. Detectives from the Major Crimes Unit were dispatched to this location and are currently on scene.
This Investigation is on going at this time.
