The Woodlands, Texas (Montgomery County Monitor) – At approximately 2:30 p.m. Wednesday afternoon, Montgomery County Sheriff’s Officers responded to a robbery call at the Wachovia Bank in the 10000 block of Woodlands Parkway near Montfair Boulevard.
Details are sketchy, but it appears a male robbery suspect fled the bank on foot.According to a press release from the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office, the suspect did leave the location with an undisclosed amount of money. The press release did not indicate if the suspect was armed.
At least one witness claimed the suspect made his way into Alexan Sterling Ridge apartments adjacent to the bank.
Officers combed the complex showing interest in one particular apartment.
However, it appears the suspect is still at large.
