The Woodlands, Texas (Montgomery County Monitor) – Friday night, Skeeter’s Mesquite Grill located in the Cochran’s Crossing shopping center was the target of an armed robbery.
At approximately 11:00 p.m., two males entered the Woodlands restaurant armed with a handgun. The suspects allegedly pointed the gun at the victim’s head during the robbery.
The suspects fled out the back of the establishment with an estimated $2,000 in cash and disappeared into a wooded area behind the shopping center.The suspects were described as two Hispanic males, both wearing hoodies.
Deputies on-scene dusted for prints around the front entrance of the establishment and also inside the establishment.
This was the second aggravated robbery within 12 hours inside The Woodlands. Earlier the same day, Chase Bank in the Alden Bridge shopping center was robbed by an armed suspect described as a white male in his 20’s or 30’s.
A request for more information concerning this incident has been tendered with the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office.
