MCSO Press Release – Death Investigation – Magnolia Area – Threet

Death Investigation

Magnolia, Montgomery County, Texas – On 03-04-2009 at approximately 1045 hours, Montgomery County authorities received a call from a family member of the residence located in the 28000 Block of Elm Trace Dr. in reference to a welfare check.

MCSO Deputies along with EMS responded to this location and found the residence to be secure with both occupant’s vehicles in the driveway. On further investigation, deputies viewed a body of an unknown person on the floor with what appeared to be a gun shot wound to the torso. Entry was made into the residence with the assistance of the Fire Department in attempt to provide medical help to the victim.

Upon entry, deputies found two (2) persons, both deceased, from what appeared to be gun shot wounds. A weapon was located near one of the deceased bodies.

MCSO Major Crimes Detectives obtained a search warrant and are currently at the residence.

The bodies have been positively identified as the owner’s of the residence, Fredrick Threet, W/M, 08.21.1955 and Suzette Threet, W/F, 11.01.1959

This investigation remains ongoing by the MCSO Major Crimes Unit and MCSO Crime Scene Investigators.
