The Woodlands, Texas (Montgomery County Monitor) – At approximately 11:00 a.m. Thursday morning, a nicely dressed, armed, white male entered a Wells Fargo Bank in The Woodlands, Texas and aggressively demanded money.
Bank employees complied with the demands and the suspect quickly left the bank of foot with an undisclosed amount of cash and disappeared around the corner.The bank is located in the Panther Creek Professional Plaza on Panther Creek Drive near Woodlands Parkway.
Dean Inman was at the bank depositing some checks when the robbery suspect entered. Inman told us, “[the suspect]pointed the gun at my head and said he would kill everyone in the bank if anybody did anything wrong…”
This is at least the third armed bank robbery in The Woodlands in the last month.
A Chase Bank in Alden Bridge was hit on February 20, 2009 and a Wachovia Bank on Woodlands Parkway was also robbed on February 11, 2009.
No one has been injured in any of the recent armed robberies.
This case is being investigated by the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office Major Crimes Unit.
