MCSO Press Release – Shooting Investigation – Magnolia Area – UPDATED

Update:

Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office Major Crimes Investigators arrested one person in conjunction with the shooting incident that occurred on Turtle Dove. The arrest occurred late March 14, 2009; at Tomball Hospital were the suspect sought medical attention. The suspect had a cut on his head that he sustained during the incident.

The suspect has been charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon (2). One victim refused to file charges.

Magnolia, Texas

Lewis remains in the Montgomery County Jail.

While the investigation remains on-going no other arrests are anticipated. The 19 year old victim who had been listed in critical condition will recover from his injuries.

This afternoon around 1630 Hours the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a shooting incident in the 19900 block of Turtle Dove (Key Map 246 W) in West Montgomery County. When deputies arrived they found that three individuals had been shot and two suspects had left the scene.

The victims were outside the residence when an argument erupted. Apparently the incident is the result of an on-going dispute between the individuals.

One victim age 19 was taken to a local hospital in critical condition.

One victim age 19 was taken to a local hospital with a gunshot wound to his arm.

One victim age 23 received a “flesh wound” and is cooperating with investigators.

Investigators with Major Crimes Section of the Criminal Investigations Division are on the scene. At this time the investigation is on-going and accurate information is sketchy.

The suspects have not been apprehended at this hour.
