District 1 – Lt. Darrel Conn (North County)

On 03/09/09, Deputy Kader was dispatched to a residence in the Willis area reference to a Disturbance in Progress. The reporting female advised that she and her boyfriend had an argument and that she did not want to file any charges. She just wanted him to leave. Records indicated active warrants on the female. She was arrested on two warrants for traffic related offenses.

On 03/10/09, Corporal Bonner was dispatched to the 19,500 block of Hwy. 105 East in reference to a reported Burglary of a Motor Vehicles. A business location reported eight vehicles were parked on location awaiting repair when they were broken into during the night. Personal items, vehicle parts and gasoline were reportedly stolen from the vehicles.

On 03/11/09, Deputy Halbert was dispatched to the 14,000 block of Kelly Road, in Conroe, in reference to a Family Disturbance. A forty-two year old male was arrested and charged with Family Violence Assault and transported to Central Jail.

On 03/14/09 Deputy Degner was dispatched to Hilltop Lane, in Willis, in reference to a disturbance. A suspect was arrested and charged with Assault – Family Violence and Assault by Threat. There is a history of violence at the location.

On 03/15/09 Deputy Degner was dispatched to a public parking area and located a male passed out, foot on the brake of a running vehicle. The individual had a distinct odor of alcoholic beverage on his person and on his breath. The male was arrested and a $10,000 bond set; pending prosecution.

Warrants – District 1:

03/12/09
Deputies located and arrested a female identified as Cherie Wetch on active Motion to Adjudicated. The original charge was “Abandoning a Child”.

On 03/12/09
Deputies located and arrested female, Juanita Hendrix on an active warrant. No bond was set as of time of the arrest.

On 03/13/09
Deputies and Conroe PD located and arrested Justin E. Tipton on active warrant. Original charge was Delivery of Controlled Substance.

On 03/13/09
Deputies were attempting to locate warrant suspect Carolyn R. Auster, when she turned herself in. Original charge was DWI.

District 2 – Lt. Andrew Eason (South County/Woodlands)

District 3 – Lt. Jim Fleming (East County)
On March 9, Deputy J. Walker was sent to the 25400 block of Tupelo in reference to a theft and burglary of a motor vehicle. The Deputy met with a male complainant who advised he was awakened by his dogs barking and he observed a male pushing a yellow dirt bike toward a pickup truck parked in this neighbor’s yard. He took his shotgun outside and observed his dirt bike missing and his van had been broken into and tools were missing. The Deputy was notified a short time later that the complainant had found the truck about three miles from his home. The Deputy went to the location and located a male suspect who admitted taking the items. All items were recovered. The 19 year old male from Cleveland was arrested at 4:10am and transported to jail.

On March 9, Deputy C. Curry was dispatched to a motor vehicle accident in the 24700 block of Needham Road. On arrival the Deputy met with a male and two females. The male was intoxicated and the Deputy questioned the females who advised the male had been driving the vehicle. A check on the vehicle revealed it to be reported stolen out of Harris County. The 25 year old male from Cleveland was arrested at 5:58am and transported to jail.

On March 9, Deputy S. Ortiz was notified of a motor vehicle accident in the 19200 block of Old Houston Road involving a possible intoxicated driver. The Deputy met with the female driver and several witnesses that stated she was the driver. The female was found to be intoxicated. During the investigation it was found that her 14 year old son was a passenger in the vehicle. The 37 year old female from Porter was arrested at 6:05pm, charged with DWI with child passenger, and taken to jail.

On March 9, Deputy L. Ray responded to the 20700 block of Idle Glen Road in reference to a welfare concern involving a female passed out on the reportee’s porch. The Deputy made contact with the female who was found to be intoxicated. The 43 year old female from Conroe was arrested at 11:41pm and transported to jail.

On March 10, Deputy J. Guion was sent to the 25100 block of Village Drive in reference to a burglary. The Deputy met with a male complainant who advised his home had been broken into about 2:00pm. He had thought it was his kids until he observed a male going through his items. The male left the scene and the complainant did not call the police at that time. He later received a phone call from a male who lived nearby saying he knew where the complainant’s items were and he would return them if the complainant would not call the police. The male never returned the items and at about 10:00pm the complainant contacted the Sheriff’s Office. The Deputy went to the suspect’s location and after an investigation located all items. The male was also found to be in possession of a dangerous drug. The 27 year old male from New Caney was arrested at 10:15pm and transported to jail.

On March 11, Deputy J. Walker was dispatched to the 24000 block of Loop 494 in reference to a disturbance. The Deputy arrived and found that Deputy J. Guion had already separated the two females that were involved. One of the females had assaulted the other and both were found to be intoxicated. The 35 year old female from New Caney was arrested at 12:20am and charged with public intoxication and assault and the 32 year old female, also from New Caney, was arrested and charged with public intoxication. Both were taken to jail.

On March 12, Corporal W. Kendrick observed a vehicle driving on a rim in the 20200 block of Red Bud. A few minutes later the Deputy was advised by dispatch that the vehicle was possibly being operated by an intoxicated driver. The Deputy stopped the vehicle and found the male driver to be intoxicated. The 27 year old male from Houston was arrested for DWI at 3:00am and transported to jail.

On March 12, Deputy A. White was notified of a forgery in progress call in the 23500 block of Hwy 59. On arrival the Deputy met with the loss prevention officer and a DPS Trooper who were detaining a male that had passed a forged check in the electronics department. During the investigation the Deputy determined the driver license being used by the male was also forged. The 25 year old male from Houston was arrested at 5:35pm, charged with two counts of forgery, and taken to jail.

On March 12, Deputy J. Guion was sent to the 23600 block of James in reference to a family violence assault call. The Deputy met with a female complainant who advised she was in the back yard and her son, who was standing in the dark, startled her. He was very agitated at her. He hit her on the side of the head with his fist knocking her to the ground. She got up to run and he chased her. He said he had a knife and was going to kill her. She threw a bucket at him which caused him to stop giving her time to get inside the residence. The 32 year old male from Houston was arrested at 8:57pm and taken to jail.

On March 12, Deputy S. Ortiz was dispatched to a family violence assault call in the 23500 block of Hwy 59. The Deputy met with a female complainant who advised she and her boyfriend had gotten into a verbal argument inside the store. The male pulled her down on the floor and began kicking her in the abdominal area. The male resisted arrest and an intermediate weapon was used to gain compliance. The 19 year old male from Cleveland was arrested at 9:13pm and transported to jail.

On March 13, Deputy R. Ashmore responded to the 23600 block of Mohawk in reference to a family violence assault call. The Deputy met with two females (mother and daughter) who each stated they had been assaulted by the other. The mother had come to the daughter’s residence and they got into a verbal altercation. The younger female stated her mother struck her with a broom. The older female said the daughter hit her with her fists. Both females (ages 42 and 21) from Porter were arrested at 11:50pm and transported to jail.

On March 14, Deputy J. Chapa was sent to the 23500 block of 2nd Street in reference to a burglary in progress. The Deputy was advised that two males had entered a vacant house and were taking electronics out of it. The witness told the Deputy the males had taken the items to a house next door. The Deputy made contact with the males and after an investigation recovered all items taken. The owner had arrived and identified the items. All property was returned to the owner. The 21 year old male from New Caney was arrested at 6:53pm and transported to jail. His 16 year old brother was arrested and transported to juvenile detention.

Warrants served:

A 31 year old male from Conroe was arrested at 1:02pm, March 10, in the area of FM 1314 and McQueen by Deputy J. Chapa for five (5) traffic warrants out of Montgomery County JP 4. The male had been stopped on a traffic violation. He was transported to jail.

A 39 year old male from New Caney was arrested at 7:55pm, March 10, in the area of Hwy 59 and Memorial by Deputy J. Chapa for eight (8) traffic warrants out of Montgomery County JP 4. The Deputy was investigating a disturbance. The male was taken to jail.

A 26 year old male from Splendora was arrested at 4:47pm, March 11, in the 14800 block of Tara Terrace by Deputy C. Turrentine for nine (9) traffic warrants out of Montgomery County JP 4. A 22 year old female from Cleveland on location was arrested for three (3) warrants also out of Montgomery County JP 4. The Deputy was investigating a disturbance. Both were transported to jail.

A 34 year old male from Conroe was arrested at 11:55am, March 12, at the District 3 office by Deputy G. Jackson for two assault family violence warrants out of Montgomery County. The male turned himself in. The male was placed in jail.

A 25 year old male from New Caney was arrested at 4:46pm, March 12, in the 17500 block of Oak Grove Lane by Deputy S. Ortiz for two (2) Woodbranch warrants. The Deputy was investigating a disturbance. The male was taken to jail.

A 42 year old female from New Caney was arrested at 9:41pm, March 12, in the 18700 block of Old Houston Road by Deputy A. White for a theft warrant out of Montgomery County. The Deputy was investigating a welfare concern. The female was taken to jail.

A 36 year old female from Conroe was arrested at 5:35pm, March 13, in the 25300 block of Blackburn Road by Deputy A. White for three (3) traffic warrants out of Montgomery County JP 4. The Deputy was investigating a disturbance call. The female was taken to jail.

A 45 year old male from Porter was arrested at 10:55am, March 15, in the 19300 block of Timberland Blvd by Deputy C. Azwell for a DWI 3rd or more warrant out of Montgomery County. The Deputy was on a warrant service. The male was on the fugitive warrant list. He was transported to jail.

District 4 – Lt. Art Galloway (West County)

District 5 – Lt. Don Lacy (Northwest County)
On 03/17/2009 Dep. C. Favorat was dispatched to the 10800 block of Highpoint Circle in reference to Fraud. Upon arrival the deputy met with the complainant who advised she was contacted by a collection agency in March 2008. The collection agency advised the complainant a telephone account using in her name was delinquent since 2005. The telephone account was for a number/listing in Austin, TX. The complainant advised she had never lived in Austin nor had she authorized anyone to use her personal identifying information to open and account. Case referred to Detectives.

On 03/16/2009 Dep. C. Favorat responded to the 200 block of Comanche in reference to Criminal Trespass of a Habitation. Upon arrival he met with the resident who advised he had left his residence. Upon his return he entered his bathroom and found a wet towel, washcloth and bath mat in his bath tub. The complainant stated this type of incident had previously occurred at his neighbors residences. Case under investigation.

On 03/15/2009 Dep. C. Favorat was dispatched to the 7400 block of N. Walker Road in reference to Arson. Upon arrival he met with the owner/resident of a camper trailer at the location. The deputy observed burn and cut marks on the trailer walls. The complainant went to bed and was awakened by a loud boom. The complainant observed his camper trailer/residence to be on fire. The complainant was able to extinguish the fire prior to the arrival of the fire department. The deputy further investigated the scene and gathered evidence to be submitted to the MCSO Crime Lab. The suspect(s) were not on location. Case referred to Fire Marshall’s office.

On 03/16/2009 Dep. M. Jackson was dispatched to the District V office to meet with a complainant in reference to Fraud. Upon arrival the deputy was advised that she had received a call from the Internal Revenue Service advising her that someone had used her social security number and additional personal information to claim her IRS tax return. The complainant was advised by the IRS to file a police report, and law enforcement would be provided the information needed on the suspect. IRS also informed the complainant had used the fraudulently claimed return to pay their debt to the IRS. Case referred to Detectives.
