District 1 – Lt. Darrel Conn (North County)
On 03/16/09, at 1:19 P/M, Deputy Degner, working D.W.I. enforcement stopped a vehicle for erratic driving near Highway 105W and Old Highway 105. The male driver stepped out of the vehicle and lost his balance. He had to lean against his truck to steady himself. A roadside sobriety test indicated further that this driver may be intoxicated. Twenty-nine year old Juan Garcia was charged with D.W.I. Misdemeanor – Class “B”.
On the date of 03/17/09 at approximately 4:45 P/M, Deputy Kitchens was dispatched to the 5,000 block of Serenity Woods, in Willis, in reference to an Assault – Family Violence. On arrival, the fifty-one year old complainant female reported that she and her seventy year old husband had an argument. The argument became physical when he reportedly pushed her against the refrigerator causing her to fall to the floor. Scratches and bruises were found as a result of the assault. Seventy year old Lowell Morris was arrested and charged with Assault – Family Violence – Class “A” Misdemeanor.
On 03/17/09 at approximately 2:30 P/M, Deputy Peckne was dispatched to the 500 block of Medical Center Blvd., in Conroe, in reference to an Assault. The complainant is a twenty year old female who reported that her husband, a twenty-nine year old male, had been assaulting her, holding her captive for three days. The complainant further advised that this was the first chance she had to get away from him to contact the Sheriff’s Office. The female complainant did display injuries. The suspect (husband) had apparently followed her to this location and was found parked in his vehicle in the parking lot, apparently waiting for her to come out. Deputies located and arrested him. A $50,000 bond was set.
On 03/23/09 Deputies were dispatched to the 18,000 block of Lindley Woods, in Cleveland, in reference to a disturbance. On arrival, a twenty-five year old female was arrested. She had reportedly come home after being gone all night and demanded that her forty-five year old common law husband leave the house. She reportedly struck him in the face with her hand, struck him with his crutch, and hit him in the head with a tire iron. Twenty-five year old Heather Earls was arrested and charged with Aggravated Assault. A $20,000 bond was set.
District 2 – Lt. Andrew Eason (South County/Woodlands)
3/9 – Dep. Fruge responded to a Burglary of a Habitation call on Glen Loch Drive. Upon arrival he met with the homeowner who stated that while he was sleeping he heard glass shatter. He went out to investigate what had broken and found 2 WM in his dining room. The homeowner chased the suspects out of his house with a shotgun. The suspects fled the scene in a dark blue SUV type vehicle. The suspects are described as WM 20-24 years of age, 5′11″ 190 lbs and WM 20-24 years of age, 6′0″ 160lbs.
3/11 – Cpl. Russell was dispatched to a location on I-45 in reference to a warrant service. Upon arrival Cpl. Russell located the suspect WM 27, who identified himself and confirmed he did have warrants. He was taken into custody and transported to the Montgomery County Jail. While being booked in at the jail the suspect stated he did have drugs on his person. A baggie containing marijuana and a pipe were located and an additional charge of Possession of Marijuana as added.
3/17 – Sgt. Herring pulled a vehicle over on Woodlands Parkway for suspicion of Driving While Intoxicated. While walking up to the vehicle, Dispatch aired an Attempt to Locate on the vehicle, for a road rage incident where the driver of the vehicle pointed a gun at another driver. A search of the suspect found a .40 Smith and Wesson handgun. The driver AM 30 was arrested for DWI and Aggravated Assault with Deadly Weapon.
District 3 – Lt. Jim Fleming (East County)
On March 16, Deputy J. Guion was notified of a burglary in progress call in the 20400 block of Loop 494. The Deputy met with a complainant who had followed the male suspect to this location. The complainant advised he did not wish to file charges if the suspect gave the stolen items back. The Deputy observed the suspect to be intoxicated. The suspect gave the items back and was detained for public intoxication. The 17 year old male from New Caney was arrested at 9:50pm and transported to jail.
On March 16, Deputy J. Walker was dispatched to the 14800 block of Old Houston Road in reference to a family violence assault call. The Deputy observed a male and female in the back yard. The female was yelling and cursing the male. The female was found to be intoxicated. The female was belligerent to the Deputy and resisted being placed into custody. The 23 year old female from Conroe was arrested at 10:00pm and taken to jail.
On March 17, Deputy D. LeBeau was sent to the 23500 block of Hwy 59 for a shoplifter in custody call. The Deputy met with the loss prevention officer who was detaining a male who had taken $59.94 worth of merchandise and failed to pay for it. The 27 year old male from Porter was arrested at 12:00am and transported to jail.
On March 17, Deputy C. Evans responded to the 22000 block of Dove Haven Court in reference to a motor vehicle accident. The Deputy met with a male driver who had struck another vehicle occupied by two occupants and then left the scene. The crash sent the second vehicle across a ditch and into a yard. The male was found to be intoxicated. The 45 year old male from Porter was arrested at 12:05am, charged with DWI, and transported to jail.
On March 18, Deputy J. Walker was notified of a theft in the 23500 block of Hwy 59. The Deputy met with the shift manager who stated a male was observed taking DVDs and placing them into his pockets and then walk out of the store without paying for the items. Total cost of items taken was $79.84. The 18 year old male from Splendora was arrested at 2:20am and transported to jail.
On March 18, Corporal D. Miller was sent to the area of FM1485 west of Loop 494 for a welfare concern. The Deputy upon arrival observed a vehicle that had run off the road in a construction zone and was high centered. Upon making contact with the male driver and male passenger the Deputy noticed both of them to be intoxicated and both were detained. During the vehicle inventory search a baggy of marijuana was found in the center console. The 24 year old male driver from Huffman was arrested at 6:45am and charged with DWI and possession of marijuana. The 23 year old male passenger also from Huffman was arrested and charged with public intoxication. Both were transported to jail.
On March 18, Deputy C. Turrentine responded to the 23500 block of FM 1485 in reference to a family violence assault call. The Deputy met with a female complainant who stated her husband, the male suspect, came home and started arguing with her and started punching her on the head, arms and back. Another male on location attempted to stop the assault and was struck on the mouth by the male suspect. The male suspect left the residence and later came back and started breaking all the electronic items inside. The 42 year old male from New Caney was arrested at 10:12am, charged with two counts of assault, and taken to jail.
On March 19, Deputy R. Layman was dispatched to the 22900 block of Colorado Drive for a family violence assault call. The Deputy met with a male complainant who advised his wife was agitated and started an argument with him. She threw an object that struck him on the chest. He attempted to leave and she struck him on the face with her open hand. The 42 year old female from Porter was arrested at 2:13pm and taken to jail.
On March 20, Deputy J. Guion was notified of a family violence assault call in the 20700 block of N. Hillcrest Drive. The Deputy met with a male and female on location. Both were intoxicated and each stated they had been assaulted by the other. They were very belligerent to each other and argued while the Deputy was there. The 39 year old male and 38 year old female, both from Porter, were arrested at 1:12am and taken to jail.
On March 21, Deputy C. Evans and several other Deputies and State Troopers were sent to a bar located in the 19200 block of Old Houston Road for a fight in progress involving several individuals. The subjects were fighting with cue sticks. The Deputies and Troopers arrived and observed subjects running away. Several were detained and charged with public intoxication and disorderly conduct. Three males, ages 30, 41, and 43, all from Conroe and a female, age 34, from Splendora, were arrested at 2:05am and transported to jail.
On March 22, Deputies C. Evans and J. Walker responded to the 14100 block of Tommy Smith Road in reference to a disturbance at a bar. During the investigation a female interfered and was detained. She was intoxicated. The 35 year old female from Conroe was arrested at 12:09am and transported to jail.
On March 22, Deputy S. Ortiz stopped a vehicle on a traffic violation in the 17100 block of Pickering Road. During the investigation the male passenger, after a pat down search, fled. The Deputy gave chase with the male disobeying commands and refusing to stop. An intermediate weapon was deployed ending the pursuit. The 24 year old male from Conroe was arrested at 6:10pm and charged with evading, possession of marijuana and a DWI 3rd with child warrant out of Montgomery County. He was transported to jail.

A 37 year old female from Porter was arrested at 6:43pm, March 16, in the area of Ford Road and Bowie Lane by Deputy S. Ortiz for a theft by check warrant out of Harris County. The female had been stopped on a traffic violation. She was taken to jail.
A 26 year old male from Splendora was arrested at 2:30pm, March 17, in the area of Community Drive and Hwy 59 by Deputy G. Harman for a violate promise to appear warrant out of Montgomery County JP 4. The male had been stopped on a traffic violation. The male was taken to jail.
A 28 year old male from New Caney was arrested at 8:25pm, March 18, in the 23400 block of FM 1485 by Deputy J. Chapa for five (5) traffic warrants out of Montgomery County JP 4. The Deputy was investigating a welfare concern. The male was taken to jail.
A 24 year old male from Porter was arrested at 4:17pm, March 19, in the 21300 block of Knox Drive by Deputy A. Cross for a motion to revoke probation (theft) warrant out of Montgomery County. The Deputy was investigating a disturbance. The male was transported to jail.
A 29 year old female from Porter was arrested at 10:18am, March 19, in the 20300 block of Lakeside Drive by Deputy C. Azwell for a possession of a controlled substance warrant out of Montgomery County. The Deputy was on a warrant service. The female was on the fugitive warrant list. She was transported to jail.
A 21 year old male from Porter was arrested at 9:30pm, March 21, in the area of FM 1314 and Woodhollow Drive by Deputy G. Harman for a theft of property warrant out of Montgomery County. The male had been stopped on a traffic violation. He was transported to jail.
A 29 year old female from New Caney was arrested at 11:57pm, March 21, in the 21000 block of Live Oak Drive by Deputy C. Murray for a motion to revoke probation (theft) warrant out of Montgomery County. The Deputy was investigating a disturbance call. The female was transported to jail.
A 34 year old male from Humble was arrested at 9:21pm, March 22, in the 22500 block of Community Drive by Sgt. L. Smith for a DWI 3rd or more warrant out of Montgomery County. The Deputy was notified that the male wished to turn himself in. The male was transported to jail.

3/12 – Dep. Rizk arrested a suspect, WF 16, at 1201 Lake Woodlands. The merchandise recovered was valued at $68.00. The suspect was transported to the Montgomery County Juvenile Detention Center.
3/13 – Dep. Rizk arrested a suspect, BF 33, at 3040 College Park Dr. The merchandise recovered was valued at $60.59. The suspect was transported to the Montgomery County Jail.
3/16 – Dep. Rizk arrested a suspect, WF 60, at 1201 Lake Woodlands. The merchandise recovered was valued at $144.00. The suspect was transported to the Montgomery County Jail.
From March 11-14, Deputies arrested 2 suspects for Driving While Intoxicated:
3/11 – Dep. Houstoun arrested WM 43 on Lake Woodlands Drive for Driving While Intoxicated. Dep. Houstoun observed the suspect narrowly miss hitting a pedestrian, fail to stop at a stop sign, as well as other unsafe actions. When asked if he had been drinking alcohol that evening, to which he replied, guilty as charged. Standardized Field Sobriety Tests were administered to the driver who was unable to complete the tests. A check of his license, showed it to be suspended. The driver was taken into custody and transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident.
3/14 – Dep. Houstoun arrested WM 41 on West Panther creek for Driving While Intoxicated. Dep. Houstoun responded to a possible drunk driver call. The reportee stated the driver was unable to maintain a single lane of travel and had almost crashed into a divider. Dep. Houstoun located the vehicle at an apartment complex. Inside the vehicle was an cooler with beer and an open can with a small amount of product still in it. The subject was taken into custody and transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident.
Other Arrests included:
3/18 – Dep. Cano transported a WM 26 to the Montgomery County Jail for a Possession of Controlled Substance charge filed by Det. Tate. When the suspect was removed from the vehicle and asked to stand by the trunk, he took his handcuffs and pressed them into the patrol vehicle scraping the paint from the vehicle. In addition to the Possession of Controlled Substance charge, the suspect was also charged with Criminal Mischief for damage to county property.
3/20 – Dep. Almendarez and Dep. Rizk arrested WM 17 and WM 18 at 1201 Lake Woodlands after responding to a suspicious person call by Mall Security. Deputies located the suspects at the lower entrance to the Mall. Both suspects had a strong odor of alcohol about their persons and slurred speech. Both were hesitant in talking with officers about their whereabouts. For officer safety both were asked if they had any weapons or contraband. The first suspect WM 17, produced two double bladed knives. The other a screwdriver. Both suspects were arrested for Consumption of Alcohol by a Minor and the one also received a charge of Unlawful Carrying of a Weapon. Both were transported to the Montgomery County Jail.
