A Precinct 3 Deputy Constable interacts with a witness and a District 2 sheriff's officer outside the Compass Bank located in the 4800 block of Research Forest Drive.
The Compass Bank located in the 4800 block of Research Forest was robbed at gunpoint.
This morning around 10:30 AM a man entered the Compass Bank located at 4825 Research Forest Drive in the Woodlands and demanded money from the teller.
The suspect was a white male wearing a black wig, sunglasses, blue and white shirt and tan pants. The suspect displayed a handgun and demanded money. The suspect left the bank with an undisclosed amount of money.
Witnesses saw the suspect leave in a white Econo Van on Research Forest Dr. Deputies and officers from surrounding agencies converged into the area but the suspect was not found. The crime is under investigation by the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office Major Crimes Unit and the FBI.
