Suspect Leaving Advance America on Sawdust Road

On 08-12-2009 Patrol Deputies from the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office responded to the Advance America Cash Advance check cashing business located in the 200 block of Sawdust Road at approximately 1030 hours in reference to a robbery.

Upon Deputies arrival they learned that a black male suspect entered the store and robbed the clerk at gunpoint with a handgun.

The suspect is described as a black male in his 20’s approximately 6′00 tall weighing approximately 190 lbs. Wearing what appeared to be new clothing, brown shirt with a large fist logo with diamonds on it, a brown baseball style hat, white shorts with white Nike shoes and white socks.

The suspect escaped on foot with an undetermined amount of money.

Detectives from the Major Crimes Unit and Crime Scene Investigators are currently processing the scene.

It was learned that a second Advance America Cash Advance was robbed approximately 1 hour later in Harris County and Detectives are currently trying to determine if it was possibly the same actor.
