District 1 – Lt. Jim Fleming (North County)

On August 10, Deputy J. Kader was dispatched to a disturbance call in the 16400 block of N. Emerson Circle.  The Deputy met with the reportee who advised a male was squealing his tires in his own driveway and in the street while yelling at his wife.  He then began yelling and cursing at the reportee as the male suspect knew the reportee had contacted law enforcement. The male continued with the vehicle disturbance as he began ramming his wife’s vehicle pushing it off of the driveway because he was upset with her.  The male at this time was told to stay indoors and not to cause further problems.  The Deputy left and was called back immediately as now the male suspect was threatening the reportee for calling law enforcement.  The 46 year old male from Conroe was arrested at 12:23am, charged with retaliation and taken to jail.

On August 10, Deputy R. Salazar observed a Chevrolet Suburban pulled over on the shoulder of the road in the 12200 block of FM 1484.  The Deputy stopped to offer assistance to a male who was standing in front of the vehicle.  During the ensuing investigation the Deputy learned the male had stolen the vehicle from a dealer’s lot in Willis because he did not want to walk home.  The 19 year old male from Willis was arrested at 1:58am and transported to jail.

On August 10, Deputy J. Kader was sent to the area of Nelwood and Maywood to assist Cpl. P. Smith in reference to a trespassing call.  A male and female were involved in the trespass investigation and were seen entering a vehicle described in the call.  Both male and female were found to be intoxicated.  The 34 year old male from Willis and 46 year old female from Conroe were arrested at 10:26pm and transported to jail.

On August 11, Deputy J. Halbert stopped a vehicle on a traffic violation in the 17200 block of Old Hwy 105 East.  The male driver appeared nervous.  During the investigation the male advised he had a pending case of possession of a controlled substance.  A consent to search was obtained and the Deputy located pills identified as oxycodone hydrochloride under the driver’s seat.  The 42 year old male from Cleveland was arrested at 3:01am, charged with possession of a controlled substance and transported to jail.

On August 11, Corporal P. Smith responded to the 14900 block of Rogers Road for a disturbance call involving two male roommates.  The Deputy met with a male complainant who advised he and his roommate (male suspect), who had been drinking alcohol, got into a verbal argument and the male suspect told him to move out.  The complainant said no and the male suspect went outside and got a shotgun out of his truck and threatened the complainant.  The 52 year old male from Willis was arrested at 7:07pm, charged with terroristic threat and transported to jail.

On August 12, Deputy J. Lawless was notified of a possible theft call in the 12300 block of     FM 830.  The Deputy located the female suspect and found her to be extremely intoxicated.  The Deputy spoke with the complainant who did not wish to file charges for theft.  The 44 year old female from Willis was arrested at 11:00pm, charged with public intoxication and taken to jail.

On August 14, Deputy J. Bourne was sent to the 12300 block of FM 830 for a welfare concern involving a female seen walking unsteadily around the park.  The Deputy located the female and found her to be intoxicated.  The 44 year old female from Willis was arrested at 3:02pm and transported to jail.

On August 16, Sgt. C. Rogers was dispatched to the 14100 block of Shadow Bay on a suspicious person call involving a male seen crouching near a tree at a residence.  The home owner noticed the male and the male fled, running through the neighborhood.  The male was located walking in the middle of the road.  The male was found to be intoxicated.  The 46 year old male from Willis was arrested at 1:20am and transported to jail.

An 18 year old male from Willis was arrested at 7:28am, August 16, in the 12400 block of Hackberry Drive by Corporal D. Bonner for an engaging in organized criminal activity warrant, a credit card abuse warrant and a burglary of a habitation warrant all out of Montgomery County. The Deputy had met the father at the door of the residence and was led to the male’s room where a baggy of marijuana (13.2 grams) was observed.   The charge of possession of marijuana was added.  The male was transported to jail.

On August 16, Deputy D. Rodriguez, while working in the 15900 block of Hwy 105E, made contact with an intoxicated male, who was drinking an alcoholic beverage and did not have identification.  It was learned that the male was under 21 years of age.  The 20 year old male from Conroe was arrested at 12:50pm for public intoxication and minor in possession of alcohol and taken to jail.

On August 16, Deputy S. Degner was dispatched to the 8900 block of Northridge in reference to a family violence assault call.  The Deputy met with a female complainant who advised her husband had been drinking and had grabbed her by the arm and slapped her and hit her with a fist on the face.  The 36 year old male from Conroe was arrested at 9:10pm and taken to jail.

District 2 – Lt. Andrew Eason (South County/Woodlands)

District 3 – Lt. Darrel Conn (East County)
On 8/15/09 Officers were dispatched to the 21000 block of Louis Ln. in reference to an Assault (Family Violence).  Upon their arrival officers learned that a 27 year old man had grabbed an ax and threatened to throw it at his wife.  He then continued to make further threats to kill her.  The man was placed into custody and charged with Aggravated Assault. 

On 8/15/09 Officers were dispatched to the 18000 block of Summer Circle in reference to a disturbance.   Upon their arrival they learned that a male had assaulted a female.  Both the male and the female were on the front porch and the male would not let the female by him so the officers could separate the parties.  The male then attempted to retreat into the home and as the officers attempted to approach the male he grabbed the female and placed her between himself and the officers.  The male then fled into the home.  The officers then went into the home to arrest the male and he struggled with the arresting officers.  The suspect, a 31 year old male, was then taken into custody and charged with Assault, Public Intoxication, Resisting Arrest and Evading Arrest.  One of the officers involved sustained a hand injury during the struggle.

District 4 – Lt. David Park (West County)
On 08/12/09 at approximately 1800 hours, Corporal Sumrall, MCSO District 4 and a Narcotics Division unit acting on a tip, arrived in the Ranch Crest Subdivision.  When the Deputy and Narcotics unit pulled up to the residence two white males were observed sitting on the porch.  As the two officers approached the porch, one of the males threw an object off the front porch onto the ground.  Corporal Sumrall located the object on the ground and identified it to be a brown a marijuana cigarette.  The ADA was contacted and charges accepted on the first male suspect for Possession of Marijuana.  The suspect was arrested and transported to South County Jail.

On 08/11/09 at approximately 0859 hours, Deputy Messina was dispatched to a Burglary of a Vehicle on Creek Drive.  The Deputy found that an unlocked vehicle had been burglarized and a  wallet was stolen.  The Complainant advised that nothing else in the vehicle had been disturbed.  The victim located his credit cards in a nearby wooded area.

On 08/10/09 at approximately 1006 hours, Deputy Messina was dispatched to a Theft call in the 33000 Block of Wright Road in Pinehurst, at a MUD Station.  The Deputy was met by the Complainant who advised that on that the electrical service rack to the MUD Station had been damaged.  The conduit going into the ground from the service box was bent and the concrete pad around the rack was cracked.  Damage is estimated at $2500. 

On 08/08/09 at approximately 2134 hours, Deputy Zavorski and Deputy Suarez were dispatched to the 21000 Block of Magnolia Hills in reference to a disturbance.  Upon their arrival the deputies saw five males in a physical altercation and as the deputies exited their cars the males fled.  The deputies searched the surrounding area and located one male laying in a wooded area but he ran from the deputies.  Deputy Zavorski pursued the suspect and arrested him. The suspect was arrested and transported the MSCO Jail.

On 08/10/09 at approximately 0903 hours Deputy Gonzalez responded to a business located in the 28000 Block of Autumn Lane in Pinehurst in regards to Theft of Copper.  The Complainant found that someone had stolen an AC unit.  The Complainant stated that this was the second one stolen in approximately one week and this unit had just been installed.  The Complainant stated it would cost about $2500.  The Complainant also stated that it appeared as if the thief’s were looking for copper as the copper tubing was cut all the way up the exterior wall.

District 5 – Lt. Don Lacy   (Northwest County)
On 08/16/09 a Texas Ranger observed a black Chevrolet pickup travelling Eastbound on Highway 105 West near Dobbin.  The witness advised the pickup was travelling in excess of 100 mph, driving recklessly and passing other vehicles in no passing zones.  The pickup nearly struck an on-coming vehicle while passing in the on-coming lane.  The witness contacted dispatch via cellphone and maintained visual contact with the reckless driver.  Montgomery Police Dept. and a MCSO Patrol deputy were able to initiate a traffic stop of the driver near on Highway 105 West near Old River Road.  The driver was arrested and transported to the MCSO Jail.

On 08/15/09 a deputy was dispatched to a family violence in progress on North Shore Drive.  Upon arrival he met with two roommates who recently began a relationship.  Both the actor and victim had been consuming alcohol and got into a verbal altercation over cooking dinner.  The actor jumped on top of the victim and began striking the victim in the face repeatedly with a closed fist.  The victim attempted to defend herself, and in the process scratched the actor with her fingernails.  Upon arrival the deputy gained control of the scene and detained the actor.  Upon further investigation the suspect was arrested and transported to the MCSO Jail.
