District 1 – Lt. Jim Fleming (North County)
On August 26, Deputy C. Holcomb was notified of a family violence assault call in the 13000 block of Sandchester Trail. The Deputy met with several individuals involved in the incident. A female complainant/suspect advised she was arguing with her mother when her father walked in and cursed at her. He walked over to her and struck her with a closed fist on the face. She left and went to her room. When her mother came in the female struck her mother on the face andknocked her to the ground. The brother came in and grabbed his sister by the hair and started slamming her head on the floor. When the investigation was completed three persons were detained. A 48 year old male, a 20 year old male and a 24 year old female, all from Conroe, were arrested at 7:30am and transported to jail.
On August 27, Corporal P. Smith was sent to the 12900 block of Elrod Street in reference to a disturbance. The Deputy met with several persons on location. A male complainant advised that he was called to the residence because of a complaint by the homeowner (male suspect). The complainant arrived and was confronted by the male suspect who cursed him and threatened to shoot him. The male suspect got a handgun and pointed it at the complainant who was retreating to his vehicle. After the investigation was completed, the Deputy having spoken with witnesses at the scene, arrested the 49 year old male suspect from Conroe at 5:50pm, charged him with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and transported him to jail.
On August 27, Deputy K. Albritton was dispatched to the 11400 block of Waukegan Road in reference to a family violence assault call. The Deputy met with a female complainant who stated she and her husband got into an argument that turned physical. The male grabbed her by the hair and head-butted her which bruised her upper lip. She got away and went to the bedroom when the male came in and threw her on the bed and choked her. The male’s brother came in and was able to separate them. The 21 year old male from Conroe was arrested at 9:30pm and transported to jail.
On August 28, Deputy C. Holcomb responded to the 13700 block of Wigginsville Road in reference to a burglary in progress. As the Deputy arrived a male witness was seen yelling at a male suspect attempting to leave the scene in a tan Ford Explorer. The male was detained. While placing the suspect in the patrol vehicle the witness yelled that another male suspect was running out the back door. A search was launched and the other male suspect was apprehended a few hours later by District 3 patrol. The first male suspect, an 18 year old, from Conroe was arrested at 9:00am, charged with burglary of a habitation and transported to jail.
On August 29, Deputy J. Wilkerson was notified of a disturbance in the 13600 block of Shadow Bay Drive. The Deputy located an intoxicated female who had been involved in the disturbance and detained her. The 56 year old female from Willis was arrested at 1:54am and taken to jail.
On August 29, Deputy S. Degner, while working DWI STEP, was notified by a Montgomery PD unit of a possible intoxicated driver on Hwy 105 near C B Stewart. The Deputy located the vehicle and found the driver to be intoxicated. The 30 year old male from Conroe was arrested at 2:05am and transported to jail.
On August 29, Deputy R. Salazar was sent to the 14600 block of Hasara Lane in reference to a family violence assault call. The Deputy met with a male complainant who advised his wife was extremely intoxicated and threw a phone book striking him in the genital area. The 48 year old female from Willis was arrested at 4:25am and transported to jail.
On August 29, Deputies J. Hodges and A. Terrell were dispatched to the 12500 block of FM 2432 in reference to a family violence assault. The Deputies met with a husband and wife on location that had been arguing and the argument turned physical. The male knocked the female down and as she tried to defend herself the male grabbed her and choked her. The male also kicked her on the leg. The 32 year old male from Willis was arrested at 1:12pm and transported to jail.
On August 29, Deputy J. Halbert was notified of a family violence call in the 16500 block of E. Emerson Circle. The Deputy met with a female complainant who is the grandmother to the male juvenile suspect involved in the disturbance. The female stated the male was very angry and started tearing up the house and punching holes in the walls. The female said the young male twisted her arm and took her phone as she was trying to call 9-1-1. The 14 year old male from Conroe was placed into custody for interference with an emergency call at 11:00pm and transported to juvenile detention.
On August 29, Deputy S. Degner assisted a Montgomery PD officer in the area of Hwy 105 and Snug Harbor. The officer had observed and stopped a possible intoxicated driver. Deputy Degner on arrival had the male perform standard field sobriety testing andhad the male take a breath test. The 50 year old male from Navasota was arrested for DWI andtransported to jail. Once at the jail, during a search, a small baggy of marijuana was found in the male’s shoe. The male was also charged with possession of marijuana.
District 2 – Lt. Andrew Eason (South County/Woodlands)
Possession of Marijuana/Possession of Controlled Substance Arrest(s):
* 8/08/09- WM 27 was arrested for 2 counts Felony Possession of Controlled Substance, 1 count Misdemeanor Possession of Controlled Substance and 1 count Misdemeanor Possession of Marijuana after a traffic stop on Rayford Road. Items seized included 4 Hydrocodone Pills, 2 Ecstacy Pills, 2.4 grams Cocaine and .06 oz Marijuana. The suspect was transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident.
* 8/19/2009- BM 24 andBM 18 were both arrested for Class B Misdemeanor Possession of Marijuana after a traffic stop on Riley Fuzzel Road. Both were transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident.
* 8/22/2009 – WM 16 was arrested Class B Misdemeanor Possession of Marijuana in a parking lot on Panther Creek. Total weight of the marijuana was 0.05 oz. The suspect was transported to the Montgomery County Juvenile Detention Center without incident.
* 8/23/2009 – WM 20 was arrested during a Warrant Service on North Legends Village Circle. The suspect was found to be in possession of 2.56 grams of marijuana at the time of the arrest. The suspect was transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident.
Other Arrest(s):
* 8/11/2009, WM 18 and WM 17 were apprehended after deputies responded to a Shots Fired call in the White Oaks subdivision. The suspects and their vehicle matched a description of suspects from a Burglary of Motor Vehicle call earlier in the day in the Spring Trails subdivision where a firearm was stolen. Both suspects were charged with Theft of a Firearm (State Jail Felony) and transported to the Montgomery County Jail.
* 8/10/2009, WM 20 was arrested for Forgery in the 33000 block of FM 2978. The suspect had tried to pass two (2) counterfeit twenty dollar bills. The suspect had in his possession at the time of arrest, 16 – $20 bills and 1-$100 bill, all of which were counterfeit. The suspect was transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident.
* 8/23/2009, A warrant was issued and served for WM20, for False Report to a Peace Officer. On 8/15/009, the suspect contacted Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office to report his vehicle had been stolen and involved in an accident. During the course of the investigation it was found that the suspect had actually been the driver of the vehicle at the time of the accident and that no theft had occurred. The suspect was transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident.
* 8/16/2009 – BM 26 was arrested for Aggravated Assault and Assault following an altercation at residence on Cox Road. The altercation started when the suspect refused to leave the location when asked by the homeowner. The victim was transported with multiple injuries. The suspect was taken into custody and transported to the Montgomery County Jail.
District 3 – Lt. Darrel Conn (East County)
On 8/29/09 Deputy Trammel was dispatched to the 20000 block of Hwy 105 in reference to a theft in progress. Upon his arrival he found the suspects walking down the street. One of the suspects then fled on foot and was then found in the area by a K9 unit. The suspect, a 17 year old male was arrested and charged with Evading Arrest.
On 8/30/09 Deputy Ortiz observed a vehicle traveling in the 23000 block of Hwy 59 and the vehicle was striking the curb on the feeder road. A traffic stop was then conducted and the driver was intoxicated. While Deputy Ortiz was handling that situation a vehicle that had been following the suspect stopped at the traffic stop and the driver of the other vehicle then got out the car. The Deputy immediately noticed the driver of the other vehicle showed signs of intoxication and further tests were then performed. Both drivers were then arrested for DWI.
On 8/31/09 Deputy Walker was dispatched to the 20000 block of F.M. 1485 in reference to a Burglary of a Motor Vehicle call. When several units arrival they learned the suspect had fled on foot. Cpl. Spiller observed the suspect walking down the street. The suspect, a 17 year old male, was detained and found to have the stolen property on him. The suspect was arrested and while being transported to jail made threats to kill the arresting officer. The suspect was charged with 3 counts of Burglary of a Motor Vehicle, 3 counts of Criminal Mischief and 2 counts of Retaliation, a third degree Felony.
District 4 – Lt. David Park (West County)
Deputy Williams and Deputy Drake conducted a traffic stop in the 29000 Block of Brownsville. The deputies searched a vehicle and found several metal cylinders wrapped in duct tape with a fuse. Believing the device to be a homemade explosive device the Fire Marshall and ATF were both notified along with the HPD Bomb Squad who was called to x-ray the device and provide disposal. Both the driver and his female friend were arrested and transported to the MCSO jail without incident. The case has been referred to the Fire Marshall’s Office.
On August 25that approximately 1633 hours Corporal Sumrall was dispatched to Tomball Emergency Room in reference to an Accidental Shooting that occurred in the Clear Creek Subdivision. The victim said that he had disassembled his pistol to clean it. When he put it back together he loaded a magazine in the gun and realized that he had a spring out of place. When the Complainant took the gun apart he pulled the trigger and accidently shot himself in the hand. The Complainant stated his injuries were not serious.
On August 25that 0716 hours Deputy Messina was dispatched to a burglary at the intersection of Decker Prairie Rosehill and Coe Loop. The Deputy was met by the Complainant who advised that someone had cut the gate lock to the Gas Unit facility and stole a 2001 model black flat bed trailer ($2,500 value) and several tools from two tool boxes. The tool boxes were mounted to a 2007 International Crane truck and forced entry was made by prying them open. Value of the stolen tools is approximately $860.00. The damaged tool box locks are valued at $200.00. The trailer was entered stolen at 0929 hours. The case has been referred to CID Detectives.
On August 22ndat 0014 hours Deputy Zavorskilearned of a small party in the sand pit located in the 28000 block of Vallie Road. Deputy Zavorskiproceeded to the sand pit and located two vehicles. The Deputy observed a clip board in the bed of the Dodge Ram with stems and seeds that the Deputy knew were from Marijuana. Deputy Zavorski saw a vehicle come over the hill out of the woods towards him in a reckless manner. The Deputy stopped the vehicle andcould smell a strong odor of marijuana from the vehicle. The Deputy foundmarijuana on the dashboard of the vehicle. Two other bags of Marijuana were found. 36 grams of Marijuana were recovered. Four males were arrested.
On August 22ndat approximately 0913 Deputy Krolczyk was dispatched to the 24000 Block of Shady Oaks in Montgomery in reference to a Burglary/Theft. The Deputy was met by the Complainant who said that several items had been taken from his home. Two generators, weed eater, and a saw were missing.
