On 10-27-2009 at 0219 hours, MCSO patrol units were dispatched to the Texaco Gas Station located at 24627 I-45 in reference to a robbery in progress.

Units arrived at the location and found that four males entered the store and robbed and beat the clerk at gunpoint. The suspects fled the location in a white Mitsubishi Montero.  A witness was pulling into the gas station as the suspects were robbing the clerk. The witness followed the suspect’s vehicle down numerous streets while on the phone with dispatch. The witness advised that the suspects fired at him at least one time while he was chasing them. The witness chased the suspect’s vehicle into the old Wal-Mart parking lot on Sawdust Road.

Patrol units arrived and engaged in pursuit with the suspect vehicle. The suspect vehicle exited the Wal-Mart parking lot heading west on Sawdust road, where it then wrecked out in the 90 degree turn into a fence. Four suspects exited the vehicle and fled into the adjacent field. Three suspects were initially caught and arrested not far from the scene of the accident and the fourth suspect was located and arrested walking in the area at approximately 0800 hours. The gun used in the commission of the robbery was recovered as well as numerous items stolen from the clerk including the money.
