Sex Offender Compliance Verification
Montgomery County, Texas
County and City law enforcement will be working cooperatively this Halloween conducting sex offender compliance checks.
Law enforcement officers from the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office, all five Constable Offices, investigators with the District Attorney’s Office, and Municipal Officers from Willis, Panorama, Magnolia, Oak Ridge, Shenandoah, Splendora, Woodbranch, and Patton Village will be conducting sex offender compliance checks during Halloween, Saturday, October 31, 2009.
Law enforcement officers will be out in force in an effort to verify current residences and verify compliance orders of registered sex offenders.
Montgomery County has approximately 675 registered sex offenders and area law enforcement will be combining forces in an effort to blanket the county checking and confirming the whereabouts of these offenders on Halloween.
The Montgomery County Probation Department has required all sex offenders who are currently under court supervision to attend a mandatory programming session on Halloween evening from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM.
