The Woodlands, Texas (Montgomery County Monitor) - At approximately 3:25 a.m. Sunday morning a one car accident seriously injured the lone occupant. The incident occurred on the southbound side of Gosling Road just north of Woodlands Parkway.
The vehicle came to rest on its roof, entrapping the driver. Emergency crews worked approximately 20 minutes in order to extricate the patient.
According to DPS, the male driver was approximately 21 years of age and suffered from head trauma. At the time of transport by ground to Memorial Hermann, The Woodlands, the driver was unconscious.
During the investigation an open alcoholic beverage was found.
The accident investigation closed the southbound lanes of Gosling Road for approximately two hours.
The investigation is ongoing.
