On 12/07/20009, at approximately 0439 hours, Woodlands Patrol Units were dispatched to the area of Summer Storm Circle in The Woodlands in reference to a suspicious vehicle.  The caller saw a vehicle park at a neighbor’s residence, and then saw an occupant of vehicle walk to several different homes on the street.  The witness was able to give the “911” operator a description of the vehicle, including the license plate.

A deputy saw the vehicle and tried to block its exit as the vehicle attempted to drive around the fully marked patrol car.  The deputy was able to move the patrol car into a blocking position and the suspect vehicle was not able to escape.

During the investigation deputies found stolen property that had been taken from various vehicles in the area.

Bradley Ragland, W/M 018, of Conroe, Robert Purselley, W/M 021, of Conroe, and Shawn Burton, W/M 019, of Conroe, were arrested and charged with 2 counts of Burglary of a Motor Vehicle.

Additional charges are anticipated.
