Burglary of a Building – Property Recovery – Arrest Pending
Detectives with the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office recovered approximately $70,000 in stolen merchandise that had been taken in a burglary on November 27, 2009.
On November 27, 2009, the victim reported to the Sheriff’s Office that valuable racing auto parts belonging to him had been stolen in a burglary on FM 1484 in the Conroe area.
Detectives with both the Auto Theft Task Force and Burglary and Theft learned that the stolen property was located in the Alvin, Texas area. Working cooperatively with Galveston County Auto Theft Task Force and Alvin Police Department three suspects were found at two separate locations in the Alvin area.
The property stolen in Montgomery County was recovered and it is believed that property stolen in a burglary in Alvin was also recovered.
Charges are pending on three suspects.
Approximately $70,000 in stolen merchandise was recovered including a 1997 Chevrolet S-10 pickup with many of the racing auto parts installed, chainsaws, weed eaters, pole saws, and blowers.
