On Sunday December 13, 2009, The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Special Investigations Unit served warrants on two businesses and a residence in Montgomery County. On Monday December 14, 2009, three residences were searched in Harris County. All of the search warrants were part of an on going investigation involving illegal gambling business operating in Montgomery County.
During the investigation 8 suspects were arrested and approximately $180,000 was seized along with numerous computers, security systems, documents and other gambling related items. The businesses searched were operating 8 liner gambling devices and paying cash prizes in violation of State law.
The SIU was assisted by the Department of Public Safety, MCSO Criminal Investigations Division, MCSO District 3 Patrol, and the Montgomery County District Attorneys office.

The Gambling businesses were located at 22570 Ford Road New Caney, know as the Four Aces and The Treasure Bay located at 23120 Payne Road New Caney, Texas.
The Residences searched were located at 23100 Blk of Payne Road, New Caney, 6200 Laramie Houston, Texas, 13600 Blk Midfield Glen Court, Houston, Texas,5300 Blk Atascocita West Trail, Humble, Texas.
