Aggravated Robbery
South Montgomery County

Just after midnight the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office responded to the report of a robbery in the 25000 block of Borough Park of a 52 year old female victim as she was walking from work at nearby restaurant to her home. 

The victim reported to deputies that a suspect wearing a bandana over his face stole her purse at gunpoint then ran away.  Nearby witnesses were able to provide deputies a description of the escape vehicle.

Descriptions of the suspects and car were broadcast to all area law enforcement officers and agencies.  Montgomery County Sheriff’s Deputy LaFont located the suspect vehicle on Lake Robbins in The Woodlands.  

Assisted by other deputies and law enforcement officers from nearby jurisdictions three suspects were arrested.  Several items stolen from the victim was recovered in the car as well as an air-soft handgun believed used by the suspects.

The suspects have been cooperative with deputies.
