Alton Lane Homes, Stephen Blackman – TEC Resolution – $400 Civil Penalty

piAccording to Texas Ethics Commission documents, on October 8, 2007 Stephen Blackman of Alton Lane Homes made a prohibited political donation to Montgomery County, Precinct 1, Justice of the Peace, Lanny Moriarty.

A complaint was filed and the Commission recently released the results of the investigation.

The document below is the Texas Ethics Commission’s Order and Agreed Resolution in which Blackman agreed to pay a $400 fine to resolve the situation.

JP Moriarty settled his complaint earlier in 2009 by paying a $2,800 civil penalty.
