On January 3, 2010, around 2130 hours the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office Patrol Division responded to a call of an aggravated robbery at the Parkside Apartments on Six Pines Drive in The Woodlands. Detectives from the Major Crimes Unit and Crime Scene Investigators also responded.
The suspect approached victims Mukomer Bekiri (41), the owner of a local Pizza Restaurant in South Montgomery County and Alicia Leach (39) in the parking lot of the complex and demanded money at gunpoint. The victims complied with the demands and the suspect shot the male once in the abdomen and fled on foot through the complex with their wallets.
The suspect is described as a thin black male in his early 20’s between 5’5” and 5’7” wearing a gray pullover hooded sweatshirt and baggy pants.
The victim was taken to a hospital in Houston and is in stable condition.
