On Wednesday, January 6, 2010, 345 p – 7 pm
The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Special Investigations Unit observed a wanted felon operating a motor vehicle and followed the suspect and a passenger to a residence located in the 3000 Block of Hwy 105 East near Fm 3083 Conroe, Texas.
When The SIU approached the vehicle to identify the occupants the wanted felon, identified as Benjamin Burton w/m 05/15/1983 of Conroe ran from the scene into a densely wooded area behind the residence. The SIU requested assistance from the MCSO District 1 Patrol, Conroe PD and Pct 2 Constables office who set up a perimeter. The MCSO SWAT team responded to conduct a ground search for the wanted felon. DPS and DEA aircraft also responded to assist with the search. After several hours the suspect was able to elude the search teams and is still at large.

During the investigation the passenger in the suspects vehicle was identified and gave the SIU Detectives a false statement with regards to Benjamin Burton. This was an attempt to hinder the investigation. The passenger was arrested for False report to a police officer and was placed into the MCSO jail.
Arrested: Jason Allen Manuel w/m 08/31/1980 of Huntsville, Tx. Manuel claimed to be a TDCJ Correction Officer. TDCJ was advised of arrest. Misdemeanor B

How about this for a press release / Montgomery county monitor in trouble for ruining a good mans name by posting his picture on the front page of your website as a wanted convicted felone when in fact he is charged ‘not convicted’ with a midemeanor and has no criminal history what so ever.
Haha, nothing will happen to this website. This “good guy” has felony warrants out for him. If he is such an angel why did he run? No one is buying what you’re selling.
