Anataja Harris
On January 17, 2010, approximately 3:15 pm, Conroe Police officers and investigators responded to a reported disturbance with weapons at an apartment complex located in the 1500 block of Oddfellow Street in Conroe.
Arriving officers learned the resident of the apartment, Quentin Eugene Brown, 11-07-78, and girlfriend, Anataja Doniish Harris, 08-18-84, were apparently involved in an argument that allegedly led to Harris stabbing Brown once in the chest with a knife. Brown was transported by ambulance to the Conroe Regional Medical Center where he was pronounced dead at approximately 4:15 pm. An autopsy was ordered by Montgomery County Justice of the Peace Pct. 2 Trey Spikes.
Investigators interviewed witnesses from the apartment complex and ultimately interviewed Harris. Harris was arrested and transported to the Montgomery County Jail and charged with one count of First Degree Murder.
