On Friday, January 22nd, 2010 at 11:00am, a woman was approached by a male shortly after parking in front of the Life Way Christian Store located at the Portofino Shopping Center in Shenandoah. The male demanded the woman’s keys and purse. Fearing for her life, the victim immediately gave the male her keys and purse and was shoved out of the way as the suspect drove off in her vehicle. Based upon the actions of the male and the manner in which he held his right hand in his sweatshirt pocket, it is possible that he is armed.
The suspect is described as black male with a very dark complexion; 5’10” to 6’with an average build, 25-35 years old, wearing a dark colored hoody sweatshirt.
The stolen vehicle is a gold colored 1998 Pontiac Grand Am missing a right front hubcap, displaying Texas license plate NBJ-385.
