District 1 – Lt. Jim Fleming (North County)

On February 16, Deputy R. Salazar was notified of an intoxicated male at the Conroe E. R. that was being detained by another Deputy. The Deputy arrested the 25 year old male from Baytown at 1:00am and transported him to jail.

A 20 year old female from Conroe was arrested at 12:46am, February 18, in the 10200 block of Hart Road by Deputy J. Hodges for a delivery of marijuana warrant out of Montgomery County. The Deputy had received information on the location of the female. The female was taken to jail.

A 33 year old male from Willis was arrested at 1:30am, February 18, in the 7200 block of Grand Lake Drive by Deputy J. Wilkerson for a theft warrant out of Harris County. The Deputy had received information on the male’s location. The male was transported to jail.

A 44 year old male from Conroe was arrested at 7:35pm, February 18, in the 10600 block of Iron Ore Road by Deputy S. Degner for a parole violation warrant out of TDCJ. The male had called in order to turn himself in. The male was taken to jail.

On February 18, Sgt. C. Rogers was dispatched to the 10600 block of Green Ridge for a disturbance call in which a male had been assaulted by another male. The Deputy met with the complainant who advised he and his friend had gotten into an argument that turned physical. The suspect male struck the complainant several times with his fists on the head, knocking him down. The suspect male grabbed the complainant by the head and slammed his head on the floor. The complainant was able to get away. The suspect male hid in a dog pen but was located and detained. The 41 year old male from Conroe was arrested at 10:40pm and taken to jail.

On February 20, Deputies K. Berger and J. Kader were sent to the 11300 block of Summit Drive in reference to a child welfare concern. A reportee had advised a five year old male child at the residence was left alone by the mother. The Deputies made contact with the child and found him to be alone in the residence. A loaded shotgun was seen near the door. Prescription drugs were found in several places along with numerous open bottles of alcoholic beverages that the child could reach. The residence was in complete disarray. The mother came home as the Deputies were about to leave with the child. She said she had left the child alone because she was upset with the father of the child and didn’t know what to do. The grandmother lived next door and she had no explanation of why she did not take the child there. The 17 year old female from Conroe was arrested at 5:44pm, charged with child endangerment and taken to jail.

On February 20, Deputies K. Albritton and A. Booher responded to the 20100 block of Meadow Lake Road in reference to a disturbance. The Deputies spoke with the boyfriend about his girlfriend who was sitting on the floor in the bathroom crying. The female was intoxicated. While the Deputies were speaking with the male, the female came out of the bathroom and went into the kitchen and pulled out a large kitchen knife from a drawer. She began to cut her left wrist. She was given verbal commands to drop the knife and refused. She then turned toward the Deputies and raised the knife above her head, holding the knife in a stabbing position. One of the Deputies used an intermediate weapon and was able to stop the attack and the female was taken into custody. The 41 year old female from Cleveland was arrested at 10:16pm, charged with attempted aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and transported to jail.

A 39 year old female from Willis was arrested at 7:25pm, February 21, in the 11300 block of Forest Trails Drive by Deputies K. Underwood and Cpl. P. Smith for violation of a protective order out of Montgomery County. Two protective persons named in the order were at the residence. The female was transported to jail.

District 2 – Lt. Brady Fitzgerald (South County)
On February 14, 2010 at approximately 2:30 am, Dep. Martin observed a vehicle traveling southbound on Interstate 45 with no tail lights and conducted a traffic stop. The driver (Black Male 30 yrs old) showed to have a suspended license. When asked if he knew his license was suspended he said no, that he had just been released from jail for Possession of Controlled Substance, and had renewed his license. During the course of the investigation, a pistol was located under the front seat. The driver was placed into custody for Unlawful Possession of a Firearm by a Felon and transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident.

On February 16, 2010 at approximately 9:30 pm, Cpl. Mullis and Dep. Kimpton were dispatched to a Criminal Trespass in Progress at 25650 I-45 North. Upon arrival, they met with the homeowner who stated the suspect (Hispanic Male 43 yrs old) had been told numerous times he was not welcome at her home, and that this evening he had shown up and when asked to leave he refused. Cpl. Mullis found the suspect laying on the couch, and found him to be intoxicated and smelling strongly of marijuana. During the course of the investigation, the suspect was found to be in possession of 2 Hydrocodone pills of which he did not have a prescription. He was taken into custody for Possession of a Controlled Substance and transported to the Montgomery County Jail. Once there, a more thorough search was conducted and the suspect was also charged with Possession of Marijuana for the .24 oz. found in a pants pocket.

On February 18, 2010 at approximately 6 pm, Dep. CL Roberts was dispatched to a disturbance in progress on Raestone St. Upon arrival Dep. Roberts encountered the suspect (White Female 22 yrs old) standing in the street in front of the house. She was unable to maintain her balance, had slurred speech and red bloodshot eyes. She was taken into custody for Public Intoxication and transported to the Montgomery County Jail.

On February 19, 2010 at approximately 4 am, Dep. Martin and Dep. Jobe were dispatched to a residence in the 25500 block of Brookhaven in regards to an out of state warrant. Upon arrival they found that the subject of the warrant was not on location. During the course of the warrant service call, the Deputies observed in the living room a green leafy substance, identified as marijuana and other drug paraphernalia. One of the residents, White Male 22 yrs old, admitted that the marijuana was his. A check of his license showed that he too had an outstanding warrant from Ohio. He was taken into custody for the warrant and also charged with Possession of Marijuana, then transported to the Montgomery County Jail.

District 3 – Lt. Darrel Conn (East County)
On 2/17/10 Deputy Layman was dispatched to a Welfare Check on Oak Grove Ln. Upon his arrival he learned that the suspect had bit her live in boyfriend in the hand causing an injury. The victim had also assaulted the suspect but was taken to the hospital due to an unrelated medical condition. During the investigation the Deputy located marijuana in the home. The suspect, a 46 year old female was arrested and charged with Assault and Possession of Marijuana. These same charges are pending against the victim.

On 2/17/10 Deputy Ortiz conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle in the 23000 block of Hwy. 59. Deputy Ortiz found that he had marijuana in his pocket. The suspect, a 39 year old male was arrested and charged with Possession of Marijuana.

On 2/19/10 Deputy Holden and Cpl. Spiller conducted a traffic stop on Hwy 59 for expired registration. The driver was found to have an active warrant for his arrest for Theft by Check. A small amount of Marijuana was found in the car. The suspect, a 39 year old male was also charged with Possession of Marijuana.

On 2/19/10 Deputy Amstutz and Deputy Armstrong were dispatched to the 20000 block of McCallister in reference to theft of copper and had a description of a suspect vehicle. Deputy Armstrong conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle as it was leaving the area where the copper wire had been stolen. Three suspects were in the vehicle and the stolen copper wire was located in the trunk that matched the wire stripped from the home. The three male suspects ages 17, 29 and 30 were taken into custody and charged with Theft of Copper, a State Jail Felony.

On 2/21/10 Deputy Martinez was dispatched to Wild Oak Ln. in reference to a Burglary in Progress. Upon her arrival she found that a witness had observed a suspect burglarizing the home and then held the suspect until the arrival of police. A second suspect that was observed was not located. The suspect, a 17 year old male was arrested and charged with Burglary of a Habitation.

On 2/22/10 Cpl. Spiller was dispatched to the 23000 block of F.M. 1485 in reference to a threat call. Dispatch had advised that an intoxicated subject on location had made 7 calls to 911 in reference to a non-emergency situation. They had advised the subject to use the non-emergency line. The caller continued to call 911 despite their attempts and began making alarming statements to the dispatcher. The Corporal arrived on scene and determined that no true emergency existed and then placed the suspect into custody. The suspect, a 47 year old male was arrested and charged with False Report or Alarm.

On 2/22/10 Deputy Curtis was dispatched to the 21000 block of Ruth St. in reference to an Assault Family Violence call. Upon his arrival he learned the victim’s live in boyfriend had assaulted her by grabbing her arms, kicking her in the stomach and hitting her in the face. The Deputy observed consistent injuries on the victim. The suspect, a 27 year old male was arrested and charged with Assault Family Violence.

District 4 – Lt. David Park (West County)
On February 20th at approximately 11:00 pm MCSO Deputy Zavorski located a Green Nissan in the bottom of the sand pit located at the 28700 Block of Vallie Road. The sand pit is a large sand hole with sand trails through a heavily wooded area that is frequently used as a party spot for teenagers and young adults. The Deputy made contact with the male driver of the truck and the three other males and one female with him. All parties were consuming alcohol. On the tail gate of the truck was a white metal smoking pipe loaded with a green leafy substance identified as marijuana and also a small clear plastic bag containing seeds and stems from marijuana. Inside the driver’s door of the Nissan a clear plastic bag of Marijuana (14 grams) was located. Both the driver and his friend were arrested for Possession of Marijuana. The three remaining subjects were issued Minor Consumption of Alcohol Citations.

On February 20th at approximately 3:00 am MCSO Deputy Zavorski was dispatched to a residence on Nichol Sawmill Road in reference to a family violence in progress. Upon arrival the Deputy met with all parties involved. The Complainant’s neighbor stated on this date he heard his neighbor yelling for help. When he arrived at her residence he observed a black male choking and hitting the 15 year old son. The neighbor physically pulled the male subject off of the boy and separated them until police arrived. The deputy placed the male subject into custody and charged him with Assault Family Violence.

On February 20th MCSO Sergeant Webb received information that a subject in Decker Hills had an outstanding warrant issued in Grimes County. The Sergeant arrived at the location and met with the subject. Dispatch was notified and the subject’s ID was checked and confirmed an outstanding warrant for Criminal Non- Support. The subject was taken into custody and transported to the South County Jail without incident.

On February 18th at approximately 12:30 am MCSO Deputy Hollan initiated a pedestrian stop to check the welfare of 28 year old white female who was walking down Decker Prairie Rosehill at SH 249 in Pinehurst. A check through MCSO Dispatch showed the female subject to have an open warrant out of Harris County Texas for Criminal Mischief which was confirmed active. The subject was taken into custody and transported to the MCSO Jail without incident.

On February 18th MCSO Corporal Sumrall was dispatched to North Creek Drive in reference to a Theft. Upon arrival the Corporal met with the Complainant who advised that on this date he and his wife had left the house at approximately 8:30 am and observed their 2009 Ranger XP 700 along with a utility trailer parked in front of their garage. When they returned home at approximately 4:30 pm both the truck and utility trailer were missing. This case has been referred to Auto Theft.

On February 16th at approximately 9:00 pm MCSO Deputy LaSalle was dispatched to intersection of Hardin Store Road and Dobbin Huffsmith Road in reference to a man passed out inside a car. Upon arrival the Deputy made contact with a 23 year old white male subject whose speech was slurred and appearance sluggish. The subject was having difficulty maintaining his balance and swayed when he walked. The subject was placed into custody for Public Intoxication and transported to the South County Jail without incident.

On February 15th at approximately 11:00 pm MCSO Deputy Hollan responded to Theft of Copper call at the 28000 Block of Clint Neidigk. Upon arrival the Deputy met with the Complainant and found that wiring from the meter pole to the building had been stolen. The Complainant stated it appeared that a vehicle had been used to pull the wiring through the underground conduit between the meter pole and the building. This case has been referred to CID.

On February 15th at approximately 6:25 am MCSO Deputy Gonzalez was dispatched to a large metal shop located in the 29800 Block of FM 2978 in Magnolia in reference to Theft of an Electric Motor. Upon arrival the Deputy was met by an employee of the shop who advised that when he arrived at the shop that morning he had noticed a vehicle driving off, using the dirt road north of the business. The employee discovered an electric motor that was sitting on top of a large air compressor was missing. The shop estimated a loss of approximately $750.

On February 12th at approximately 6:00 pm MCSO Deputy Crandell responded the report of a Blue Chevrolet Caprice swerving into oncoming lanes of traffic and driving erratic. The Deputy located the vehicle at SH 249 and Decker Prairie Rosehill with a blown tire. Deputy Crandell spoke with the lone female occupant of the car. The Deputy had the female subject perform a Standard Field Sobriety Test (SFST). The female was arrested for DWI and taken to jail.

District 5 – Lt. Don Lacy (Northwest County)
On 02.17.10 at 2:40 PM Deputy Neeley responded to the 900 block of Honea Egypt for the reported Burglary of a Building. The Complainant reported that someone had forced entry into his locked storage building and stole numerous hand power tools valued at over $ 500. The case is under investigation by the Criminal Investigation Division.

On 02.18.10 at 4:00 PM Deputy Durbin responded to the 7000 block of Old Hwy 105 W for the reported Burglary of a Building. The Complainant reported that someone had forced entry into his locked building and stole a large amount of copper wiring valued at over $1,500. The case is under investigation by the Criminal Investigation Division.

On 02.20.10 at 10:50 AM Deputy Thompson responded to Pine Point Drive for a Burglary of a Vehicle report. The Complainant said that someone entered her unlocked vehicle overnight and stole several credit cards and other personal articles valued at less than $100. The case is under investigation by the Patrol Division.

On 02.21.10 at 10:20 PM Deputy Garner responded to the 800 block of Pine Bough for the report of a Verbal Disturbance. Investigation revealed that a male and female were engaged in a verbal disturbance in a public place and that the male was using profane language in front of others who were offended. The male Suspect was arrested for Disorderly Conduct and placed into the Montgomery County Jail.

On 02.22.10 at 8:20 AM Deputy Thompson responded to the 19200 block of SH 105 W for the reported Burglary of a Building. The Complainant reported that sometime during the past few days someone forced entry into his storage building and stole numerous power and hand tools valued at over $ 1,850. The case is under investigation by the Criminal Investigation Division.

District 6 – Lt. David Dottei (Woodlands)

The following Shoplifting arrest(s) were made at 1201 Lake Woodlands Drive:

2/19 – White Female 16 yrs old – The recovered merchandise (3 items) was valued at $74.97. The suspect was transported to the Montgomery County Juvenile Detention Facility in Conroe.

The following Shoplifting arrest(s) were made at 3040 College Park Drive:

2/18 – Black Female 18 yrs old – The recovered merchandise (13 items) was valued at $152.50. The suspect was transported to the Montgomery County Jail.

2/18 – Black Female 17 yrs old – The recovered merchandise (6 items) was valued at $53.00. The suspect was transported to the Montgomery County Jail.

The following Possession of Marijuana arrest(s) were made:

2/14 – White Male 25 yrs old was arrested after a traffic stop for a defective brake light. During the course of the investigation 1 gram of Marijuana was found inside the vehicle. The suspect was charged with Class B Misdemeanor Possession of Marijuana and transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident.

2/15 – White Male 20 yrs old was arrested after a deputy was dispatched to a suspicious vehicle at 20 Waterway Avenue. During the course of the investigation 1.5 gram of Marijuana was found inside the vehicle. The suspect was charged with Class B Misdemeanor Possession of Marijuana and transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident.

2/16 – White Male 20 yrs old was arrested at 4192 Interfaith Way. During a park check at this location the deputy made contact with two white males. During the course of the contact, the suspect stated that he had small amount of Marijuana in his vehicle. The suspect was charged with Class B Misdemeanor Possession of Marijuana, for the 1.25 grams, and transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident.

The following additional arrests were made:

On February 16, 2010 at approximately 5 pm, Dep. Viands and Dep. CE Roberts were on uniform bike patrol of 1201 Lake Woodlands, when they were flagged down by a citizen that stated two young people were slumped over in a vehicle. Deputies located the vehicle and observed the two people in the vehicle to be either asleep or unconscious. After a few attempts at knocking on the windows, the two subjects White Male 19 yrs old and White Female 19 yrs old, finally woke up and stepped out of the vehicle. The driver, White Male 19 yrs old, had slurred speech. A check of his identity showed that he had had a recent drug possession charge. The Deputies requested the assistance of Pct. 3 Constable Dep. Sprague and his K-9, in an exterior search of the vehicle. Deputies located a small clear plastic bag containing 7.5 white bars. The bars were identified as a form of Xanax. Both occupants of the car were placed into custody for Possession of a Controlled Substance and transported to the Montgomery County Jail.

On February 17, 2010 at approximately 6:30 pm, Dep. Ross was dispatched to 8000 Research Forest Drive in reference to a Theft. Dep. Ross met with the Risk Management officer who stated that after reviewing several store videos that they had determined that a store employee had taken cash from the register on several occasions. The suspect, Black Male 16 yrs old, admitted to taking approximately $600 since January 1, 2010. The suspect was then taken into custody charged with Class A Misdemeanor Theft and transported to the Montgomery County Juvenile Detention Facility.

On February 19, 2010 at approximately 8:30 pm, Dep. Conklin responded to a call of two white males that were spray painting the bridge on Six Pines. Witnesses stated that the two subjects were spray painting the bridge and would hide as people walked by, then would continue painting when the people were gone. Both subjects were observed running in opposite directions as police vehicles arrived. One suspect (White Male 16 yrs old) was detained and returned to the scene. This suspect was observed to have black paint on his hands. The second suspect (White Male 17 yrs. old) was later returned to the scene by his mother. Both suspects are residents of the Woodlands. They were both charged with Class “A” Misdemeanor Graffiti and transported to the Montgomery County Jail and Montgomery County Juvenile Detention Facility.
