On March 10, 2010, at approximately 0350 hours, three black males attempted to commit an aggravated robbery at the Exxon located at the intersection of Research Forest and Hewitt. The victim saw a passenger car in the parking lot and became suspicious and locked the front door and called 911.
The store clerk was on the phone with 911 when one of the suspects approached the front door carrying a black handgun and tried to come into the store. When the suspect realized the door was locked he retreated leaving in the car with the other suspects.
The suspect vehicle was located by Sheriff’s Office deputies and Shenandoah P.D. patrol officers traveling east on Research Forest and the suspects were arrested and face charges of criminal attempt of aggravated robbery. Bandanna face masks and 3 BB pistols were found in the car.
The suspects were identified as:
Detayvious Rashad Merrill B/M DOB 7-21-1990
Robert Perry Forman B/M DOB 5-10-1991
16 year old B/M
All three suspects are from the Spring, Harris County area.
