In the early morning hours the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office patrol deputies were alerted to a State Wide “BOLO” for a murder suspect believed to be traveling to the Houston area from Plano, Texas.
Using the broadcast information from the alert, Corporal Kenton Ford and Deputy Lynise Nichols monitored southbound traffic on IH45 near Lake Front Circle. Around 2:30 AM the deputies spotted the suspect’s vehicle, a 2007 Nissan Pathfinder, as it was heading south on IH45.
Corporal Ford and Deputy Nichols using other patrol personnel initiated a traffic stop on IH45 and Rayford Road. The murder suspect was arrested and the murder warrant was verified with the Plano Police Department.
The murder suspect was taken to the Montgomery County Jail where he will await transfer.
