MCSO Press Release – Shooting – Mosswood

On 03-22-2010 at approximately 7:30 PM, Deputies from the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office responded to the 600 block of Mosswood Drive in reference to a shooting. Upon arrival, Deputies learned the male occupant of the residence stated that he had accidentally shot his live in girlfriend in the head. The victim had suffered a single gunshot wound to the head and was transported to Memorial Herman Hospital in Houston where she was listed in extremely critical condition and is currently in surgery at the time of this press release.

The victim is identified as Linda Marie Hare 25 YOA from Conroe.

The boyfriend was identified as Michael James Leveillee 27 YOA also of Conroe.  Michael Leveillee was interviewed at the scene and was cooperating with Detectives from the Major Crimes Unit and Crime Scene Investigators.

This shooting investigation is ongoing and will be referred to the Montgomery County District Attorneys Office for review.
