MCSO Press Release – Bank Robbery – Woodlands – Updated

Attached are surveillance photographs from the robbery that occurred at the Comerica Bank in The Woodlands on March 29, 2010. The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office Major Crimes investigators continue to review evidence and will compare evidence with other crimes that have occurred in the area.

Anyone with information concerning this suspect should call the Montgomery County Major Crimes Detectives at 936-760-5876 (day) or dispatch 936-760-5800 (24 hrs) or Crime Stoppers. Crime Stoppers will pay up to a $1000 cash reward for information leading to an arrest or indictment of a felony crime. Call 800-392-STOP (7867). Anonymous tips can also be made through the Montgomery County Crime Stoppers Web Page at http://www.montgomerycountycrimestoppers.org.

Robbery – Montgomery County – The Woodlands
March 29, 2010

This morning around 9:30 AM the Comerica Bank on Woodlands Parkway was robbed at gunpoint.

Today a suspect who is believed to be a Hispanic male entered the Comerica Bank located at 6417 Woodlands Parkway and John Cooper Drive. The suspect demanded money at gunpoint from one of the tellers and then fled the bank on foot. No one was injured during the commission of the crime.

Deputies with the Sheriff’s Office arrived within minutes and began a systematic search of the area but a suspect could not be found. The suspect was described as Hispanic, mid-to-late twenties, approximately 6 ft and heavy with dark brown hair. He was described as wearing a blue shirt, dark pants, and wearing wire rim glasses.

In-bank surveillance photos may be released at a later date.
