This afternoon the Speedy Stop in the 25000 block of IH 45 was robbed at gunpoint.
On April 9, 2010, around 4:30 PM deputies with the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office were called to the Speedy Stop store located at 25602 interstate 45 North in South Montgomery County.
Deputies learned that two male suspects with their faces covered entered the store with a handgun and demanded money. The suspects took money and the cash register. A suspect shot into the counter but no one was injured.
Major crimes detectives and crime scene investigators are still at the store looking for evidence and interviewing witnesses.
Due to heavy clothing age weight and race were difficult to determine but believed to be male suspects, 5′8-6′ of medium build.
