Burglary Investigation
The Woodlands
On April 25, 2010, at approximately 5:00 PM, the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office was notified of a burglary at The Woodlands Christian Church located on N. Millbend Drive in The Woodlands. Investigating deputies learned that sometime during choir practice someone forced entry into an interior room through an inside door and stole a safe containing cash, credit cards and checks that had been collected that morning during church service.
Little evidence is available at this time, but investigators are reviewing all possibilities.

Burglary of Motor Vehicle – Arrest
On April 25, 2010, at approximately 8:00 PM Deputy Teri Ross saw a purse lying on the ground near a light pole in the parking lot of Tinseltown on Lake Robbins Drive and nearby she saw the door of a pickup truck open.
During the investigation the deputy turned her to attention to a nearby car where she saw what she believed were stolen items laying on the ground. Deputy Ross, joined by Deputy T. Weatherford saw a W/M teenager standing nearby. When approached the suspect ran and the deputies caught him in front of the theater.
Numerous articles (credit cards, Ipod, GPS, purse and wallet, jewelry, tools and other items) was recovered from the suspect’s car that is believed to be stolen, but have not been linked a specific crime. Deputies are reviewing crime reports from the area and will make every effort to return property to its rightful owners and additional criminal could be possible.
The suspect was arrested and charged with Burglary of a Motor Vehicle and Evading Detention.
