That said, if I were the prosecutors I would also be particularly interested in the dealings of several new business entities recorded at the Secretary of State’s office showing Kapadia “relatives” (using either his home address on Harbor View Drive or office address on the Southwest Freeway) listed as officers, as well as the Sadler-connected Tri-Star Operations & Management, Inc. and New Concept Business, Inc., all of which were initially set-up in 2009, AFTER Kapadia’s 2008 indictment, arrest and release. The sheer number of “new” entities, loans, transfers, etc. makes Kapadia/Sadler actions look like a huge “shell” game!
Any one of these new entities has the potential to be used as a third-party transferee of Kapadia/Sadler assets (as in the UFTA) or even used as money laundering “conduits”, as a new Development II Partners, Inc. cash “laundromat” business could well be destined for. (Click)
What do you want to bet that Pretrial Services were never notified of:
- The start up of all these new (shell?) businesses and their connections to Kapadia (Click)
- The direct Development II Partners, Inc. payment of Kapadia’s property taxes (Click)
- Development II Partners, Inc. 2009 loans (where assets the government might have had an
interest in were pledged as collateral) (Click) - The new State and Federal Tax Liens filed in Galveston and Harris County (Click)
- The “source” of the $500 campaign contribution given by Kapadia on Feb. 20, 2010 to Judge Sadler
(Click) - At least $200,000 in current delinquent property taxes outstanding in several counties (Click)
- The paper “transfer” of Sadler/Kapadia gas station in Fort Bend County operating under the assumed
name of “Rosenberg On The Run” (Click)
One can only hope that someone will feel inclined to call the phone number listed in paragraph (a) of the “Additional Conditions of Release” document to ask the feds to look at all documents “linked” in this posting. Documents that show Kapadia’s post-indictment ”financial transactions”. I would hope that the prosecutors would look at all this before Kapadia’s June 24, 2010 sentencing date. A sentence that promises to be the “lightest available” under Kapadia’s April 1, 2010 plea deal. (Click for Phone # )
I don’t hold out any hope that Sadler will step up to openly and truthfully address these important issues for the voters so they can make enlightened decisions at the polls this fall.
Sadler (the candidate) is a man who is asking for the full faith and trust of the voters this November. Who among us is willing to give this man their full faith and trust come election day when he has failed more than once to step up in public and talk honestly about every one of these issues and to even denounce his partner’s criminal actions?
Sadler’s actions and inactions are just far too slippery as they cause him to look more and more like a guy who fits my “tag line” to a “T”………….
